Me & DH are at a stand off. I have agreed to put the dilemma to the MN jury without bias...
One of us was having some toast this morning and found that it popped up after only a minute, the dial having been turned down to 1 by the other party yesterday for a product that only needed light toasting. This person is unimpressed and feels that the dial should have been moved back to it's normal toasting zone (no. 3) after being used last time. Said toast is now only slightly toasted and it will be difficult to achieve a perfect browning.
The dial-turner feels that there are several different products that may be toasted other than toast, and that when you pop your toast down you should first check what number you are toasting on, and that to ask the other party to adjust it twice each time they toast something different is ridiculous.
Who IBU? The person who thinks the dial should be returned to 3 after each toasting, or the person who thinks you should set it to your preference when you toast??
God it's hard being impartial
