Well its a mail article so I was trying to.imagine an explanation.

But I just can't.

Vile vile woman .Poor baby

Catsarebastards · 30/10/2014 16:01
Angry

Absoloutely disgusting. Yes she should be struck off. I dont know how anyone could think she is fit for that job! I'm shocked.

And why has it taken 6 years to get to court? Confused

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/10/2014 16:05

If you can't cope with wee poo or vomit then why spend tears training as a midwife Confused

Gileswithachainsaw · 30/10/2014 16:05

Years

curlyweasel · 30/10/2014 16:10

Fuck me. How vile.

Nomama · 30/10/2014 16:11

But why now?

That article is over a year old...

WrappedInABlankie · 30/10/2014 16:15

I don't understand how people could let her walk round with a photo to show her husband how hilarious she is Hmm

ArabellaTarantella · 30/10/2014 16:26

THAT ARTICLE IS FROM 3 JUNE 2013 (as Nomama said) - why have you waited nearly 18 months to post it OP?

WrappedInABlankie · 30/10/2014 16:35

What do you mean waited? It's not like I've kept it in a little folder for a rainy day. I have OBVIOUSLY just read it today Hmm

OP posts:
Nomama · 30/10/2014 16:38

Not obviously at all.

I wondered why you were currently so worked up about something that happened 18 months ago.

Cynic in me wondered if you were a journo looking for a slow news day story Smile

WrappedInABlankie · 30/10/2014 16:42

I don't read/watch/see the news so I'd be a pretty crap journo Grin someone had it on fb and it angered me. I don't know what has happened to her though I hope she got struck off

I think she was struck off in the end. Nurses and midwives have always had the right to a professional panel hearing. Its the nmc who give you a licence to practice, so its up to them whether its taken away or not. And people need a hearing, otherwise members of the public could just make stuff up.

I've had someone make up total lies about me I think they were after compensation. Luckily a Dr witness backed me up.

ArabellaTarantella · 30/10/2014 16:46

Agh - Facebook! That explains it.........sooooooooo out of date.

Nomama · 30/10/2014 16:47

She was suspended for 4 months - last October... so will probably have been delivering babies ever since.

WrappedInABlankie · 30/10/2014 16:49

4 months?? Is that all ShockShock

VivaLeBeaver · 30/10/2014 16:50

Have searched and she wasnt struck off. She had a caution order put against her though which means she can't work as a midwife. When the order finishes technically she can but its unlikely she will.

If the order was for three years or more she would need to do a return to practice course and pass that. Noone would employ her.

VivaLeBeaver · 30/10/2014 16:52

The caution order is still showing as active against her on the nmc register.

Catsarebastards · 30/10/2014 17:07

I'd like to see her banned from working with any vulnerable group and not just babies and labouring/post birth mothers.

hiddenhome · 30/10/2014 17:22

Not excusing it, but Gateshead's well rough like.

Catsarebastards · 30/10/2014 17:26

How is that relevant? Confused

springlamb · 30/10/2014 17:30

Huh?
Which makes it all the more important that mothers and babies there are treated with respect, decency and compassion during their time as patients.

WrappedInABlankie · 30/10/2014 17:30

So? Doesn't give her and anyone else the right to chuck milk at babies and abuse people

OP posts:
Gileswithachainsaw · 30/10/2014 17:34

I think. Hidden meant that she's rough and foul mouthed as she's from. Gateshead. Not that the patients somehow deserved it

Catsarebastards · 30/10/2014 17:39

Well no, a newborn baby would be hard pushed to deserve having milk being thrown over it. No matter where it is from.
