I know, it's the DM. Sorry. And yeah, a dummy aged 3 isn't ideal. But really, maybe the child never watches tv and only eats organic lentils (for some reason I think this is what I should aspire to as a parent). Poor kid.

I don't think it's good for her. I just think that all parents do things that aren't perfect and just because she's in the public eye then V and DB are being judged for it (or just VB??).

They also use a pic of DB holding Harper with a dummy. But it's VB's fault Harper uses it.

A 4 year old I know still has one and it has severely compromised her speech. She talks like a 2 year old. It's awful.

Oh Harper's their 4th child, I would think they are pretty secure in their ability to parent.

I don't understand why anyone is even slightly interested in whether someone else's child had a dummy or not.

When I've seen Harper's picture in the papers she's not had a dummy in her mouth in every shot, it might be a rare thing, who knows?

It's a snapshot for goodness sake! It may be that still let her have a dummy occasionally if she's overtired, upset or under the weather and this is one of those occasions.

My DD had one at bedtime until she was over four, and it certainly wasn't for lack of trying to get it off her. Obviously it's not ideal but there is such a thing as common sense.

She is a beautiful little girl. But I do think she's too old for a dummy especially during the day and she needs to be put down on the ground to walk instead of being carried.
