To think that trick or treating is basically begging?

I actually don't think that at all but am surprised that no one has started the obligatory thread about it yet so thought I may as well start one. Also, Haloween is American and allowing children to have anything to so with it will lead to them worshipping Satan. Have I missed anything?

Yeah, I love begging. I wish there were one for adults, where we could go begging for loose change.

Actually - not paraquat laced Haribo- but a few years back my DS went out with friends + adults and was given a bottle of Coke.

Luckily, he's never drunk Coke so he had a small swig and said it tasted "weird".

His mate tried it and agreed it tasted funny.
The bottles weren't sealed and it was flat.

I'm hoping someone had a few bottles and thought "I'll fob these off on the local youths" maybe leftover from a party?

But equally, it could've been tampered/poisoned ?

Thought I'd jump in here, love Halloween threads Grin Halloween is All Hallows Eve, or Samhain. Samhain is the time when our world and the spiritual world is close together and we celebrate the lives of our dead ancestors. It's a pagan holiday. Halloween is my favourite time of year, and me and DP are dressing up, I can't wait to have some lovely DCs running about as little gouls! cute! :D
