To wonder what the oddest response you've ever received on Mumsnet has been?

Have you ever received a really strange response to a post on here?

I remember about a year ago posting about someone at work who talked constantly about her child, on and on and was I being unreasonable to find it a bit very annoying. I got the usual mix of YABU, YANBU, all perfectly logical responses. Then someone posted 'YABU. Maybe she's nervous', disappeared and never posted again on the thread .

Just wondering what odd or illogical responses you've had to posts on here?

I needed to get rid of my sidebollocks somehow.

I named nobody by the way....just relayed my experience.

It's fine bendy, Mintyy outed herself, she's quite sanguine I'm sure.

It's not fine IMO.

It's not fine to discuss another poster who can easily identify herself.

I expect a few people on this thread can identify themselves from a comment.

I am guilty of using the word sanguine far too often.

It was in honour of the new woo board. But the new woo board is a bit deserted.

I expect they can, bendy. Which is why this is a shit thread.

I don't say it nearly enough. It's on my list of words that I should use more.

I was wabbling on about mores and praxis earlier, so think self lucky, StickEm.

I've only really taken it on board this year, and that's only because I've been collecting words. It's a lovely word.

I love sanguine and I like disingenuous. I also don't think mintyy is prickly at all.

I have never, to my knowledge, wabbled, Holden - as demonstrated by the fact that my iPad didn't even recognise it, and corrected it to the far more boring and pedestrian wobbled. I shall be having a go at wabbling not wibbling, bloody autocorrect as soon as possible.

Writing this post has been stressful. The iPad tried to autocorrect wabbling to wobbling, the first time I used it, then corrected it differently the second time from wabbling to wibbling. And when I tried to type wibbling, it autocorrected it to wabbling. And now my brain is dribbling out of my ears, and I think I saw my last marble roll away.
