To think Claudia Winkleman looks shocking on SCD.

She looks like she has a pink towel wrapped around her.

In fact she actually looks ill.

I think she looks lovely tonight. She's an ace presenter, can't stand Tess and am not going to say how wonderful she is because we have 2 women fronting a prime time show, she's an awful presenter. Claudia is fab and I'd like to be her best friend.

Regardless of appearance, I cannot understand how someone with an eye condition that makes her squint and have difficulty reading autocues can achieve success as a tv presenter. I really do not like her and find her incredibly irritating

She looks alright to me.

I think they are both good presenters, both deserve to be where they are. I think it's bloody amazing that the BBC have broken the rules and have two female presenters, and I applaud them for it.

It's absolutely irrelevant what they look like. It shouldn't matter at all. But for what it's worth, I think they are both beautiful, and both look amazing. I'd be more than happy if I had their looks!!

...and I'm bloody glad I'm not on tv, to be judged by some of the perfect models on this thread!!

She does look less tired 'tonight' but this show and last nights were filmed on the same night filmed on the same night, you sure?

This is a bitchy thread. You can tell people to fuck off all you like but it wasn't a complimentary thread.

I never said it was complimentary - just that she looks unwell.

If that's what presenting Saturday night mainstream TV has done to her then it's not great.

More worried that so many of you think SCD is worth watching. Who gives a shit which no marks are presenting and/or how they look. It's a dreadful show.

Regardless of what she looks like, Claudia is an excellent presenter. Tess is not. It's embarrassing that most of you are prepared to overlook this fact because she is a woman. Demeans all of us.

After reading some of the posts on here I watched last nights intro on iplayer out of interest.

I think she looks fine.

In fact she looks like she probably always has looked but because of the heavy eye make-up, fringe and occasional fake tan disasters in the past you've just not known what her more natural look is.

I love SCD, didn't like Claudia's look last night but I love her, so glad she's presenting it and Bruce is gone. Bit worried Tess is becoming a bit Brucie though (I'm thinking bad jokes)

I also think the BBC are great in having two women in their 40's presenting a prime time show. It shouldn't be worth mentioning but it is.

I don't really give a shit what she looks like. The fact we have two middle aged women presenting on a Saturday night is brilliant.

The fact my young kids no longer have to see an 80 year old man grope the leg of a woman half his age on prime time telly is even better.

So in the twighlight zone of MN its a no no to come on and comment on the glammed up, glossy, styled within an inch of their lives presenters, notice that one of them looks a bit pale and wan and express concern she might not be well, but its fine to call your fellow posters bitches and imply they are intellectually deficient for watching such trivia?

A good proportion I think Rooners, or maybe I am completely naive. Certainly she looked so different I definitely thought what's up with Claudia, hope she's ok. That's pretty much the feeling I've picked up from most posters if not all.

Is fourty really middle aged? As someone rapidly approaching my fourties I find that mildly terrifying.
