The poor darlings are going to be about 27 by the time they start at this rate Hmm

Are they time travellers?

Zippidydoodah · 27/09/2014 08:54

I think the producers might have read some mumsnet threads re: sexism, as Topsy wears a blue apron whilst Tim wears a pink one (while they are baking etc)

WhispersOfWickedness · 27/09/2014 22:35

Zippedy, I had noticed that too Grin
We must see the school, surely?! There's that clip of them in the playground. And they went to dad's work so they're obviously not totally averse to filming in other places?!

School episode is next Thursday. It was filmed at my sons school and he's so bloody excited it's all I've heard about in the last week.

WhispersOfWickedness · 30/09/2014 18:12

Hmm at Mummy and her 'taking a deep breath when something goes wrong'.
If they were my dc, they would have heard a few colourful phrases after they destroyed/lost about 20 quid's worth of party stuff ShockGrin

That was ridiculous. A normal child would have been distraught over the lost balloon and mum pissed off that they lost it or maybe that's just me

AnyoneForTARDIS · 30/09/2014 18:31

watched it today 1st time ever.

so they were fighting over holding a cake box and all the cakes fell on the floor and mum DIDNT snap or shout at them for fighting?

just a sweet 'oh my precious diddums why don't you calm down in your room.

Really?

is there every any rants/telling off properly/explosions like anormal family?

WhispersOfWickedness · 30/09/2014 19:46

Never mind distraught, more like traumatised, I still remember losing a helium balloon in a similar manner when I was about the same age! Sad

Anyone - that is the first time we have ever seen the twins fight!! Shock

OP posts:
WhispersOfWickedness · 01/10/2014 17:27

You'd have thought they would move the pile of crap on the stairs before the party Hmm

misstiredbuthappy · 01/10/2014 17:29

5th birthday my arse, they look closer to 10 than 5.

WhispersOfWickedness · 01/10/2014 17:32

Yes, I was impressed at how few tantrums and pushing kids off chairs there was at musical chairs Hmm
Also thought it was a shame that they had to share a cake! Get them one each, you stingey buggers Angry

WhispersOfWickedness · 01/10/2014 17:33

I may have just inadvertently offended all mums of twins, apologies BlushBlush

My dd just got very excited - 'mummy mummy it's their first day it just said...' That'll be 'birthday' then!! Loved the playhouse that was already too small for them (seeing as they are 8)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought that, madrigals! She definitely looks like the kind of person who would have a pristine house and parry planned down to the minute.
I don't think she'd have bought cupcakes from the supermarket either Grin Or let her 8 5 year olds trash them Hmm

Dc1 asked me why Joy didn't shout when they fought and dropped the cakes, "as you would have mum". I told her it was because T&T's mum was on the TV, and as soon as the camera was turned off she'll have had a good old shout like me.
Everyone is on their best behaviour when they're on television after all. :)

Fucking deep breath... FFS

WhispersOfWickedness · 01/10/2014 21:11

Brilliant answer, Gah Grin that said, I probably wouldn't have shouted either, but that's mostly because there is not a chance in hell that they would have been carrying them in the first place Grin

She does definitely have the look of a Pintrest addict, madrig Grin

Lady - possibly, but mostly because it now means that we will have to watch the same episodes over and over and over again as the DC adore it Sad Sometimes it makes it more bearable if it is at least an episode that I've not seen before!!

whispersofwickedness I share your pain, we have them all on the planner, my heart skips a beat when it comes up view instead of watched.

But seriously. Does nobody else get angry when the interferring mother in law brings her dog round again. She's always there with it, she may aswell move in the new tree house thing that the twins don't fit in.

misstiredbuthappy · 02/10/2014 17:27

Its official people their definitely going to school TODAY ! watching it now on the edge of my seat Hmm

fishfingersfortea · 02/10/2014 17:33

Can't believe I cried at T&T wearing their uniform then dad came home from work to take them to school. Even more embarrassing is the fact I'm watching it on my own as 5yr old ds has wandered off Blush
