To consider becoming a masseuse

violet123 · 19/09/2014 11:32

I currently work in a decent job which unfortunately does not pay well. I saw an ad for a masseuse which apparently pays £200 per day. I am aware of the nature of the work but I am seriously considering it regardless. Am I mad to even think about it? Has anyone else had experience of this type of work? Any opinions gratefully received. Thanks

I assume you mean a "masseuse" with extras then, do you? Or do you actually mean a massage therapist that's all above board etc.? If the latter, I can advise, but not the former.

TortoiseshellSpecs · 19/09/2014 11:43

If you are considering becoming a sex worker then you need to be aware of the heightened personal risk you are taking to your personal safety, too.

Nancy66 · 19/09/2014 11:44

you mean a hooker?

PenisesAreNotPink · 19/09/2014 11:45

Masseuses very often have sex if they're earning £200 a day.

At the very least you're going to be sucking and wanking a lot of ghastly, cheesy cock

MrsWinnibago · 19/09/2014 11:46

Do you not mind wanking old men off then? Because that's what you will be doing. And young ones and fat ones and smelly ones and nasty ones. They will also ask you to say disgusting and disturbing things to them which will give you nightmares.

BreeVDKamp · 19/09/2014 11:52

Oh wow I thought she actually meant someone who did massages...

LadyLuck10 · 19/09/2014 11:54

Bree I thought the sameBlush

BreeVDKamp · 19/09/2014 11:57

But if you do 4x£60 massages a day, once you've covered your costs etc that's pretty good money!

MrsWinnibago · 19/09/2014 11:58

I think she would have put "massage therapist" if she meant ordinary stuff. And they don't earn 200 a day.

MrsWinnibago · 19/09/2014 11:58

Bree I don't think 60 quid's good for sucking old man cock.

PenisesAreNotPink · 19/09/2014 12:00

No one puts 'I am aware of the nature of the work' without knowing it involves massaging knob.

If it was therapeutic massage or sports massage we could point her in the direction of a local college.

But 'masseuse' is something different.

PenisesAreNotPink · 19/09/2014 12:02

Not enough money in the world for me to suck dirty, cheesey, herpesey, old man cock while he slaps it against my face while talking about how he wants to fuck me in every hole.

£60?

I think not.

rebelfor · 19/09/2014 12:02

It's scuzzy.

My friend is a 'masseuse' and earns pretty good money, but the clientele aren't anything like George Clooney, that's for sure. Hmm

Nancy66 · 19/09/2014 12:03

£60? She'll be lucky.

You ever seen one of these massage parlours? They're horrible sleaze pits. most of the girls who work there are probably in the country illegally - maybe trafficked - the 'house' will take about half the girl's earnings and the men who go are lowlife pigs who can't afford a 'real' prostitute.

we're talking blow jobs for a tenner here.

MrsWinnibago · 19/09/2014 12:03

Peniises exactly! Bleurgh!

IamtheZombie · 19/09/2014 12:04

Oh dear.

MrsWinnibago · 19/09/2014 12:04

Nancy is probably right. :( They SAY 200 a day and then when you leave with 30 quid as the rest has been taken in charges for the room, charges for the soap, charges for security you will have shite all.

TortoiseshellSpecs · 19/09/2014 12:05

Yes, pink, Pretty Woman it will not be.

NecesitoDormir · 19/09/2014 12:06

What will you tell your DCs when they ask what you did all day? "Mummy negotiated with a sleaze bag about not using condoms and the potential to earn more without them. Then I gave head whilst being verbally degraded and physically assaulted by a man."

OP you might want to watch the Nick Broomfield documentary about a girl working undercover in the UK sex industry. Was on Ch4 about a year ago.

they smuggled a camera into one of these massage parlour places. One client was so drunk that he pissed himself on the bed. The girl complained to her madam who just told her to get back in there and do her job.

Still fancy it?

PenisesAreNotPink · 19/09/2014 12:08

I think it's the worst end of the sex (exploitation) industry.

It looks the safest. It's a shop, there's others around, half the time you are giving someone a crap massage. It's seductive for young women and I've heard plenty of tales from them where they're told they 'only' have to wank them off with a 'happy' finish at the end.

But the reality is as Nancy says, it's blow jobs for a tenner. And it's sleazy and IMO worse (if there is such a thing) as 'real' prostitution as the women lose so much of their 'salary' to the parlour.

Just makes me so angry.

OP you should really read the information on this site.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 19/09/2014 12:18

I'm a qualified masseuse. I don't do it as a job now. It never, ever involved sucking anything or touching anybody's knob. Back in the day it was sports injuries, muscle relief, deep tissue... Confused

Please stop term somebody has hasn't qualified as a 'masseuse'. Regardless of whether they do 'happy endings' or not, they are no such thing and it's annoying.

AgaPanthers · 19/09/2014 12:23

There is no defined massage qualification. Sure you can train, but it's unregulated. So yes, you can call anyone a masseuse, regardless of training, if that's what they do.

You are not going to get £200/day unless you are providing sexual services.
