DP's friend's girlfriend.

I buy rounds of drinks for all of us.
DP buys rounds of drinks for all of us.
DP's friend buys rounds of drinks for all of us.
DP's friend's girlfriend has never bought a drink for herself or anyone else.

It's that whole 'couples count as one person' thing, isn't it. Or it could be that she thinks she is so special we all love buying her drinks and she doesn't need to return the favour.

It boils my piss.

DP says don't worry about, it's selfish of her, but he's not going to make a fuss over it.

WIBU to tell her being blonde and skinny and giggly doesn't excuse you from buying rounds?

Sunday was a bit unfortunate. Often there is swings and roundabouts with round buying, but well done for the previous evening.

I think I would find it easier to just say your round next, rather than just buying him a drink and not her. That is rather more pointed, but hopefully it got the message across. He needs to continue the good work.

also, if you're (or your DH) is going to the bar you don't have to buy doubles or large glasses of wine.

orangetart · 22/09/2014 14:42

If someone said 'your round next' to me DH would get up and pay if it was our turn. If two couples go out then each couple should buy two out of four rounds.
If you are only having one or two drinks then just buy your own otherwise someone will end up out of pocket.

When we go out, dh buys our round, and the other couples in the group do the same.
