Evening all!

OP posts:
squoosh · 18/09/2014 23:13

Nicola does appear to wear stage makeup, it is quite heavy and old fashioned.

I'm aware this doesn't impact on her ability as a politician etc.

StatisticallyChallenged · 18/09/2014 23:13

Ach, we've got at least two hours to kill before results. If we can't talk make up and clothes and general crap we'll go crazy!

Cambiodenombre · 18/09/2014 23:13

flippinada my favourite quote of the past few weeks

SlowlorisIncognito · 18/09/2014 23:13

Nick Robinson doesn't seem to think the latest yougov poll doesn't neccesarily have that much value.

starwarslegoboy · 18/09/2014 23:13

You are not much good as a feminist

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 18/09/2014 23:14

tabulahrasa what makes you think you are getting a different programme?

It's ok flip this thread will be long gone by the morning! Surely what's said on thread stays on thread?? Grin

Cambiodenombre · 18/09/2014 23:14

I think the Tories were screwed either way

SlowlorisIncognito · 18/09/2014 23:15

Perhaps the English and Scottish BBC programing has slightly different perspectives? Or else it's practice for the independent SBC?

starwarslegoboy · 18/09/2014 23:15

Oh come on. It's not fair to do the female attractiveness/makeup thing. If we can't do it well, who will?

OneNight · 18/09/2014 23:15

Cars WildThong?

flippinada · 18/09/2014 23:15

Cambio :)

Don't get me started on the hairdo.

WildThong · 18/09/2014 23:16

I agree with Nick

tadjennyp · 18/09/2014 23:16

Can you choose between the coverage on the BBC website tab as I can? Perhaps with Huw Edwards they are going for more neutral coverage?

inlectorecumbit · 18/09/2014 23:16

Ruth Davidson is hilarious when drunk--met her at wedding last year, Really lovely person (not so sure about her politics tho !!)

squoosh · 18/09/2014 23:17

I was snippy about Douglas Alexander's hair before I mentioned NS's make up.

I'm an equal opps snippy cow.

SlowlorisIncognito · 18/09/2014 23:17

I'm watching "Scotland decides" on the BBC, presented by Huw Edwards. It seems like some Scottish people are watching something different? Not on Sky :P

BardarbungaBardarbing · 18/09/2014 23:17

.

flippinada · 18/09/2014 23:17

I know starwars. Can I say, I have met NS and while I do not agree with her politics I have respect for her as a politician. I apologise for lowering the tone, it was a moment of daftness.

tabulahrasa · 18/09/2014 23:17

I think it came on at the same time...it said yon viewers in Scotland have a separate programme thing and then started.

I mean, it doesn't matter or anything, I just wondered what was different. I mean usually on a vote counting night England get English politicians and Scotland get Scottish and they kind of cut between both.

But they won't have English politicians in London talking about it rather than those that have been involved in the campaign will they? And there's no English counts to cut to.

It just made me nosy was all, lol.

WildThong · 18/09/2014 23:17

EarthWindFire · 18/09/2014 23:17

Cambiodenombre · 18/09/2014 23:17

How do you get Huw?

MuddyWellyNelly · 18/09/2014 23:17

Am now in bed and going to try to sleep. But before I did, I stepped outside and had a few quiet words with my country. Seems very Sentimental but tonight might be the last night that officially* I step out of my house into the UK. My country. Scotland, UK. I will miss it very much.

Oh I feel a bit sick.

*yes I know we wouldn't change tomorrow, but I said I was being sentimental!
