StatisticallyChallenged · 19/09/2014 02:14

Oops sorry Tabulahrasa. It is 2am in my defence Grin

Fairiesdance1 · 19/09/2014 02:14

Thanks. Hoping for more results soon planning pizza at 3 looks like I will b up all night!

EarthWindFire · 19/09/2014 02:14

Does someone watch the votes whilst everyone was evacuated in Dundee?

Toadinthehole · 19/09/2014 02:15

That's about par for NO. They were expecting a comfortable no won there. Ditto Shetland.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 02:15

I am incredibly curious to see the Dundee and Aberdeen results. I may sleep after those. But there is a large part of me thinking fek it as it is 2.15 already anyway. I will close my eyes and put the TV on mute when Glasgow and Edinburgh come in!

My face and teeth actually hurt from all the tension.

trixymalixy · 19/09/2014 02:15

Sorry it's west dunbartonshire that's supposedly 53%

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 19/09/2014 02:15

I'm wilting, I've got to get up for work in under 5 hours Shock

I think I'll be making enquiries later about remortgaging if this ends up a no as it's looking now. Feels like I can start planning now for changes.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 02:16

living no, no hotline - the comments about Aberdeen are from the Guardian live feed.

It's too early to say but I'm pretty sure it's going to be No, maybe by a more significant margin than people thought. If Clacks didn't go Yes (they were a 'Yes' target) then I'd say a no vote is likely.

I don't want to make a prediction yet.

Cambiodenombre · 19/09/2014 02:16

Yes sources in west Lothian saying 53% no there according to guardian. Although why would yes say ahead they are not in lead? Have to keep re reading it

flippinada · 19/09/2014 02:17

Tension, I need to be up at half six. I just won't go to bed. It's easier :)

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 02:17

tension we were in the same position. Wanted to buy a car but had no idea if we would be able to qualify for a car loan in the result of a Yes vote. Maybe we can all get back to living again after this. With perhaps a bit more engagement in the political process Smile

tabulahrasa · 19/09/2014 02:17

Ah, you're alright StatisticallyChallenged, I've not said much anyway... I'm trying to watch, read this thread and keep up on Facebook all at the same time, lol

squoosh · 19/09/2014 02:19

I shouldn't laugh.......

tabulahrasa · 19/09/2014 02:19

I'm in West Lothian, I'm expecting it to be a no btw... It's orange walk heartland tbh.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 02:19

Ah ok will head over there now. How do they get this information?

I too don't want to make a prediction. It will be very close I think.

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/09/2014 02:19

My facebook already has shouts of fix on it, which is quite impressive really.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 02:19

living Thanks.

I'm with you. I won't feel confident until I see what Glasgow and Edinburgh say.

I'm looking forward to future indyref threads. I'm sure this won't be the last one.

PhaedraIsMyName · 19/09/2014 02:20

Sky explaining Orkney vote as a demographic thing - less younger people, more older traditionals, tend to eschew anything mainstream Scottish politics

Which is largely bollocks although they are resolutely loyal to Liberals / Lib Dems

PhaedraIsMyName · 19/09/2014 02:21

Me too re Edinburgh and Glasgow. I think Edinburgh will be no.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 02:21

tabulahrasa if it is any consolation I don't think many No voters are thrilled with the Orange Order either. At least in this referendum your vote really did count with a simple yes or no.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 02:21

Statistically all my yes friends, who have been very vocal over the last few days, have gone very quiet. I think they are expecting a no.

squoosh · 19/09/2014 02:22

Inverclyde might come down to a single vote!

Cambiodenombre · 19/09/2014 02:22

I think Edinburgh no too

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 19/09/2014 02:22

Latte thanks - It was there staring me in the face!

flippinada · 19/09/2014 02:22

Can I just say - categorically - as a no voter - I DO NOT SUPPORT THE ORANGE ORDER. Sorry for shouting, but I hate those feckers.
