Yes, to be fair 75% is still a really impressive turnout!

I wonder if a lot of people abstained in Glasgow? I am not sure why I say that, but is it something around how it has been so hotly contested?

I'd go as far as 75% turnout for Glasgow is exceptionally high. But that may be the wine talking :).

We are hearing early and unofficial talk from the "Yes" camp that they have lost the count in West Lothian. They are telling us it is 45% for Yes.

75% is good normally, but I think they were expecting a higher turnout there and in Dundee which were both seen as being strongly Yes.

Think I am going to have to have a nap but might end up not waking up for a while. Be very interesting to see what the result is in the morning and good luck to Scotland whatever happens.

75% would be high for a general election but it's poor for something like this.

Glasgow turnout for the last general election was 50%, so it represents a comparatively good effort. Don't know what the turnout was for the last SP elections.

The 75% in Glasgow have reminded me of, ironically, this quote...
