Evening all!

OP posts:
squoosh · 19/09/2014 01:01

La Bird is in tangerine. No sequins. Demure for her I suppose.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 01:01

Dennis Canavan on BBC...judging by his reaction, I'd say it's a no.

OOAOML · 19/09/2014 01:01

Jackie Bird is in shocking tangerine. No sparkles. I think sparkles would have improved it.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 01:01

Oops sorry pressed send too soon. As in I just don't think we can call it right now.

Who's that guy ranting in London? I can't keep up with it all!

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 19/09/2014 01:02

Phaedra I did think you were taking it quite calmly :)

I would assume they would just give the 'real' person a new vote card with a new number :) So all they need to do now is find the 10 'originals' to hand over to the police.

OOAOML · 19/09/2014 01:02

Surprised at Dundee turnout. Would have expected higher.

squoosh · 19/09/2014 01:03

But presumably they can't add in the votes for those who were unable to vote?

I doubt it. But they're saying it's only 10 reported cases so far. Hopefully not too widespread.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 01:03

For those who don't know, Dennis Canavan was a Labour MP, resigned, and very well respected and influential.

Just hearing that Glasgow might by 54% no, 46% yes. Now if that's true, No are home and dry.

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 19/09/2014 01:04

What's the turn out in Dundee Zuid I missed that.

WetAugust · 19/09/2014 01:04

they're not saying what happened to the folk who appear to have been cheated out of their vote. They are showing one of the allegedly fraud entry cast papers sealed in an evidence bag.

I cannot see how they could ducked in a prosecution as it's surely just heresay that he votes were misappropriated and no way if confirming otherwise?

SlowlorisIncognito · 19/09/2014 01:04

livingzuid I think 79% is still a really good turn out, though.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 01:04

Sorry....resigned and then turned independent (referring to Debbis Canavan).

East Lothian also reporting as yes.

I'm going to call it. Confident of a no vote now.

SlowlorisIncognito · 19/09/2014 01:05

Yes camp suggesting 54% yes for Glasgow, but their body language is "flat".

squoosh · 19/09/2014 01:05

I assumed Glasgow would be the Yes win.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 01:05

Aaargh, wine aand stubby fingers. Of course I mean Dennis Canavan.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 01:06

OOAMOML I know. I am very surprised. Interesting though isn't it? I have heard it described as the SNP stronghold. Oh they are telling us now.

latte I know. She is settled again now. I think DH and I may just stay up and see what happens. Chocolate helps!

GrouchyKiwi · 19/09/2014 01:06

I quite like what Jackie's wearing.

Interesting that Midlothian might be a good indicator.

SlowlorisIncognito · 19/09/2014 01:06

Better together predicting East Lothian 62% no.

OOAOML · 19/09/2014 01:07

Yes Dundee have tweeted re pic of yes postal votes on no table - postal votes just sitting on that table and not yet sorted into yes/no.

WetAugust · 19/09/2014 01:07

78.8 in Dundee lower than expected and lower than other areas so far.

flippinada · 19/09/2014 01:07

I may have misheard Glasgow. I'm Midlothian, I'm hearing they think it will be half three-ish.

livingzuid · 19/09/2014 01:07

Slow I completely agree. Given the amount of Yes paraphernalia around and the SNP history I would have expected it to be much higher though.

MrsTerryPratchett · 19/09/2014 01:07

Hello from Canada . I thought I'd hang with you guys for results.

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 19/09/2014 01:07

Zuid chocolate always helps :)

OOAOML · 19/09/2014 01:08

I am shattered. Slept really badly last night. Still not sure about going to bed though.
