PMSL I saw that clip of NS and I was like "ooooh look at you, you've got a shiny pen" Grin

SirChenjin · 18/09/2014 17:43

Actually - can I take that back?? I'm not sure my brain can cope with the image of Wee Eck and Nikki DTD

MuddyWellyNelly · 18/09/2014 17:44

Grin.

I'm quite proud of that. It might be the funniest thing I've ever posted on the internet Grin

frankie80 · 18/09/2014 17:45

wouldn't surprise me if they had tbh, they have a wierd partnership I've always felt. She seems to idolise him.

WildThong · 18/09/2014 17:45

That pen will be on t'internet as we speak!

MuddyWellyNelly · 18/09/2014 17:45

Brain bleach here too.

squoosh · 18/09/2014 17:47

SirChenjin frankly I'm appalled at such crude humour.

livingzuid · 18/09/2014 17:47

That picture made me laugh! Oh for some female politicians that one could look up to...

ajandjjmum · 18/09/2014 17:47

They do seem 'very' friendly.

Twas funny Muddy! Grin

livingzuid · 18/09/2014 17:48

And thank you so and chelsy that's very helpful.

MuddyWellyNelly · 18/09/2014 17:48

Only works on MN really though, doesn't it?

SirChenjin · 18/09/2014 17:49

She does, doesn't she? But then again, DH (who is now an ardent No voter having started off as a wait and see man) has come across him many times in the course of his work and reports that Wee Eck is a very charismatic character

browneyedgirl86 · 18/09/2014 17:49

I am so tense. I have to be up early tomorrow as I have a very important day at work but I don't know how I will be able to sleep!

RubbishRobotFromTheDawnOfTime · 18/09/2014 17:49

Sorry I don't have time to read through the thread - DH got this email today as he'd been in touch with Yes Scotland a while back about stickers or something (he's still a Yes, I'm a convert to No who is terrified Yes will win).

Is it usual for campaigns to send out emails like this? Are Better Together sending out similar ones today to people who have been in touch with them?

*Dear First Name,

Have you voted yet? If not, stop reading and go and VOTE YES.
Have your family and friends voted?

We need every Yes supporter to get out and vote. Do not leave it until the last minute.

Tell everyone you have voted Yes.
Change your profile picture and banner on Facebook and Twitter to "I Voted Yes" using this handy tool: votey.es/profileimages.

Share our "I Voted Yes" graphics on social media. You can find them on our Facebook page, Twitter feed and this useful gallery of graphics.

Take a seflie of yourself - on the street outside the polling station. Try to get some Yes branding in the background if possible. Do not take any pictures in the polling station.

Contact your local Yes Group if you have any questions about voting. Find yours here. Also, a map of local groups is here.

Thank you. Let's do this.*

SirChenjin · 18/09/2014 17:50

You live for crude humour squoosh - less of your coyness

livingzuid · 18/09/2014 17:50

Security people, the man who checks your boarding pass and waitress all are hoping for a no vote by the way. Wonder what the flight back will be like.

squoosh · 18/09/2014 17:51

Tis true.

EarthWindFire · 18/09/2014 17:52

Not a bad thing though SC

My DP was always told he should have too.. His response was the same as yours. He is now thinking about it again.

StatisticallyChallenged · 18/09/2014 17:52

BT are a little more subtle, just got this

"There are just 5 left hours to vote in the referendum. Reports are that people from across the country are proudly voting No today. But we need everyone who supports a stronger Scotland, with the opportunity and security of being in the UK. To get out and vote for it.

I voted No earlier to secure a better future for my kids with more funding for our NHS, more job opportunities and a Scotland where they can feel proudly part of something bigger.

If you are reading this at work and haven’t voted yet, please go and vote on your way home. If you can then please join our team at your polling station and do your bit to represent the No campaign.

If you have already voted, thank you and please consider joining our team at your polling station.

Thanks "

Are these odds still correct

SirChenjin · 18/09/2014 17:55

Let me just enlarge that image so that I can see those odds more clearly Wild and I will report back on their accuracy

livingzuid · 18/09/2014 17:55

They are very good marketeers. The labour party should hire the company who designed their social media campaign.

Except that is all it is of course. Spin. Messages like that from charities and the like piss me off. It's the same type of campaign approach.

squoosh · 18/09/2014 17:58

The second to left odds will need more in depth investigation.

StatisticallyChallenged · 18/09/2014 17:58

Seem a few facebook posts slagging No voters off and talking about how they're asking unreasonable questions, nobody can predict the future, Mystic Meg isn't involved etc etc.

Really? Is "what currency will we use in 18 months" that unreasonable? Hmm

Have I missed the discussion around the Scottish Broadcasting Service?
