Well no-one's contacted me tonight Troels. (I can't remember which pollster it was but my response to one question as 'It's the economy, Stupid!' and I think he took it personally. No sense of history clearly.)

EarthWindFire · 18/09/2014 22:34

Thanks Frankie

Mind hope your DS is ok

SantanaLopez · 18/09/2014 22:34

Sky News Breaking: YouGov poll no 54% Yes 46%

Thanks lbsjob! Wow. Big gap....

Trying desperately not to get hopes up

moggiek · 18/09/2014 22:35

Just said on STV that the postal votes are started to be counted now.

MindReader · 18/09/2014 22:35

He's 9. He is very 'high functioning'. You wouldn't really know apart from the anxiety part of it. Obv which country he wakes up in is a biggie....
They have all been talking about it at school and his teacher rushed in breathlessly to tell them all she'd voted this am (nowt wrong with that mind) and so it is very much on his (and all our) minds.

squoosh my fave 'mad Eck* pic is the one where he is staring maniacally at some Tunnock teacakes with his hairnet on iin a factory. It is real eyepopping comedy gold, I tells ya!

Re the diet wagon - I have just consumed a tub of B&J Peanut Butter icecream. The one with the huge chunks of Reese's peanut butter cups in. I thought it might help the NO vote, honest.

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 18/09/2014 22:35

santana honestly, a scooter and a tether are your friend :) I am totally unsurprised that you nearly rolled off the bed!

Mindreader I hope you can settle DS down soon. How did the cake go?
Bless him worrying about The Gap x

EarthWindFire I am vegetarian and not really a sweet eater so hadn't got around to trying them. Made up for that tonight Envy

moggiek · 18/09/2014 22:35

Or even starting ..

HesterShaw · 18/09/2014 22:35

Surely if it's a no, it will be reasonably close i.e. under 60%, and if that's the case, there's NO WAY Salmond will fade away quietly. There'll be another one in a few years.

This will have been said before a lot. Sorry.

SantanaLopez · 18/09/2014 22:35

Tangerine? Wtaf? Bad show Jackie.

WildThong · 18/09/2014 22:35

YouGov 54% No. 46% Yes

squoosh · 18/09/2014 22:35

Night SirChenjin, I'll try not to pass comment on the fact you're heading off to bed very soon after seeing that extremely sexually arousing picture of Alex.

WildThong · 18/09/2014 22:36

Sorry x post

MindReader · 18/09/2014 22:36

La Bird ISNT wearing sequins Shock

has the woman no sense of the importance of the occasion???

Genuinely shocked Shock

combust22 · 18/09/2014 22:36

It will be a foreverendum. I don't think AS cares either way. Even with a No outcome he has a loaded pistol to Cameron's head.

Igneococcus · 18/09/2014 22:37

I stop eating when I get anxious, this has been good for me from a weight perspective at least.

Cambiodenombre · 18/09/2014 22:37

squoosh that's just wrong

SlowlorisIncognito · 18/09/2014 22:37

According to BBC newsnight, turnout was as high as 95% in some areas, which is amazing!

SantanaLopez · 18/09/2014 22:37

Surely if it's a no, it will be reasonably close i.e. under 60%, and if that's the case, there's NO WAY Salmond will fade away quietly. There'll be another one in a few years.

Yes, I agree. But at least, for now, we could have a break.

AddToBasket · 18/09/2014 22:37

Breaking: Betfair has No at 89% probability of No victory, 11% Yes victory

Wynona · 18/09/2014 22:37

Seriously stop worrying. It seems so implausible that in the cold light of day that people have actually voted for the cross your fingers and hope option. I stand by the 53% No.

flippinada · 18/09/2014 22:37

MindReader my DS is 9 too. It's a funny age, isn't it..on the cusp of growing from a child into an adult.

Apols for soppiness, must be the wine!

squoosh · 18/09/2014 22:37

Oh yes mindreader, the photo of Alex in a Tunnock's induced state of ecstasy is a thing of beauty!

gruffalosarse · 18/09/2014 22:38

I'm back and even more nervous.. I seem to be the only NO voter out of my circle of friends.. Respect to all voters decisions but .... fuck! This is huge

SantanaLopez · 18/09/2014 22:38

The Tunnocks- I cannot....
