Would hate to be the neighbour of the people on this programme!

Alisvolatpropiis · 09/09/2014 21:38

This won't go well.

Nothanks18 · 09/09/2014 21:39

Pay by installments, and the noise for the poor neighbours?,

OP posts:
bodhranbae · 09/09/2014 21:41

I don't suppose they'd fancy being your neighbour much either.

Bet you haven't got a ticket for this.

walkonthewildside · 09/09/2014 21:43

I'd rather sit on the old settee out the front of my Council house.

Cantbelievethisishappening · 09/09/2014 21:46

Walk with your feet resting on a rusting car while you neck your Special Brew Grin

randomkeckwasher · 09/09/2014 21:48

Do you get to wear your judgypants in the hot tub then?

DollyMixture99 · 09/09/2014 21:53

FWIW the only people I know who have a hot tub are very wealthy.

WallyBantersJunkBox · 09/09/2014 21:54

Do they have one that's also a time machine?

FelixFelix · 09/09/2014 21:55

My sister bought one of those inflatable hot tubs and got her DP to position it in the perfect angle by the window in the garden so she could watch Jeremy Kyle whilst sitting inside it Blush

WallyBantersJunkBox · 09/09/2014 21:55

I want to be her Felix.

GoringBit · 09/09/2014 21:56

Me too.

Stratter5 · 09/09/2014 21:57

There's a council house round the back of the town with a massive goat in the front garden.

I bet they've got a hot tub to sit in whilst they watch their 1000" plasma tv.

The goat. It actually exists. :)

Nothanks What is causing you the most outrage..... the fact they are paying by instalments?

Goldenlab · 09/09/2014 22:08

We've had a hot tub for years. It's great.

Thebodyloveschocolateandwine · 09/09/2014 23:23

Round out way hot tubs are a dead giveaway for swingers. Like pampas grass on your front lawn.

Hissy · 09/09/2014 23:25

'common'? 'housing scheme'?

what precisely is that supposed to mean?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/09/2014 23:27

I'd LOVE a hot tub....

Bogeyface · 09/09/2014 23:30

I dont understand the attraction. Why would anyone want to have a bath in the garden?! If you want to have a sexy time with your partner then spend a fraction of the cost getting a larger bath or a shower fitted. If you want a pool for the kids then a splash pool would cost a lot less and take less space. If you want to sit in warm water with your friends while bits of their skin float around you then you are fucking weird!

Weathergames · 09/09/2014 23:32

My ex husband has a hot tub.

I had the misfortune of seeing photos of him in it with his wife Hmm

He is a tight fucker but doesn't live in a housing scheme, not sure about payment method.

He is a twat but to be fair not a chav.

HicDraconis · 09/09/2014 23:35

Hot tubs are great - we use ours most days, all year round. I'd have liked a pool as well but it's not feasible on a steep hillside.

It's somewhere to sit, enjoy the view, listen to birds, listen to children, enjoy the bubbles, relax. It's great after sports for aching muscles, it's great before sports to warm up in winter - lots of reasons why they're good.

We are not weird - the vast majority of homes here have them :) ours is tucked away on the patio and not overlooked by neighbours though.

walkonthewildside · 09/09/2014 23:37

If I had a hot tub there wouldn't be room for the Staffie to roam about in my tiny garden.

squoosh · 09/09/2014 23:37

Your sister for PM, she sounds ace!

GaryShitpeas · 09/09/2014 23:41

"Housing scheme" ?

What do you mean by that op?

squoosh · 09/09/2014 23:43

'Housing scheme' is Scottish for council estate.
