Outrage here as well. Can't bear Diana anyway but icecreamgate just confirms it. Can't believe everyone kept quiet and just let Iain take the fall for it.

I was shouting at the telly. I don't even watch tv but I put the woodburner on as was so cold so we watched it. I couldn't believe it! And Martha should have been star baker.

Just watched it and the family are starting a get Diana out campaign. Apart from DH who says his (Iain) ice cream wouldn't have set anyway

Tbh chetnas was a bit of a melty mess too and they made a point of praising hers....

Totally unsporting behaviour from the women.
Iain was a true gent, frankly I suspect he relieved his feelings by throwing away the ruined cake rather than engage in a shouting match with Diana.

I can't believe she didn't own up to her appalling behaviour.

We saw diane and nancy fiddling in the freezer then the ice cream was found on diane the ice cream slayers worktop.

I agree, totally unfair, Diana should have 'fessed up. Freezer-gate shall be forever frowned upon!

I think he was very restrained when talking to m&p. He 'had issues with his ice cream'. No he didn't the dozy/malicious old bint removed it from the fecking in freezer!

I'd have smashed her swan with a ladle. Poor Iain.

If I were him, when he went up to P&M, I would've spun round (when they asked what happened) and pointed at Diana and said "That bitch happened"

How hard would it have been for her to say 'Oi, Iain, put your ice cream in your own freezer - mine won't fit otherwise.' Why would you just dump it on the side?

However, although I'm cross with her, some of this Twitter backlash is a bit much (just had a look) with some extremely nasty comments. Hope she has some support at home as it risks getting very OTT.
