Yeah I hate those scroungers, you know the ones who deprive the state of tons of cash. Just out of curiosity, how much tax did national treasure Gary Barlow get away with in comparison to a depressed single mother?Oh, I forgot, that's different.

Fixerupperz · 24/08/2014 19:46

Gary barlows not in BB yet, hes still got a career Grin

hairymonkey · 24/08/2014 19:53

Kinda! Give it a decade Wink

Fixerupperz · 24/08/2014 19:58

You're being very generous ive not seen his face in so long!!

ilovechristmas1 · 24/08/2014 20:11

tis important has she found a decent bra that fits Grin

mollypup · 24/08/2014 20:33

The fact she making serious money off the back of a life of theft, fraud, benefits and essentially treating her kids like crap is pretty irritating, irrespective of whether she's a nice person!

BeyondTheSea · 24/08/2014 20:35

The way she spoke to her DC was who king. I really can't warm to any reality 'star' though really. I am not keen on the pursuit of celebrity...

DurhamDurham · 24/08/2014 20:38

She might well be nice, but I don't think anyone should look up to her or see her as someone to strive to be. She was on benefits and now she isn't. That's makes her a celebrity?

She swore and shouted at her children while the cameras were there, god knows what she sounds like behind closed doors.

Celebrity? Don't make me laugh.

crispandfruity · 24/08/2014 20:49

She's a celeb in that she has a current profile in the public eye. Good luck to her, at least she has turned benefits street into a positive.

BBQSteak · 24/08/2014 22:50

yes she stole, she did the crime and did the community service

surely we all deserve a second chance when we have made mistakes?

you can't hold that one crime against a person for life

OP posts:
ThatSmellsLikePoo · 24/08/2014 22:58

I really can't bear this idea that a crime once committed must follow a person for ever. Surely we have a justice system precisely in order to punish and rehabilitate? Repeat offenders -fair enough. One poor decision and punishment -move on.

ArsenicyOldFace · 24/08/2014 23:01

I really can't bear this idea that a crime once committed must follow a person for ever.

It's a fair point, and she was in an abusive relationship at the time?

DurhamDurham · 24/08/2014 23:08

I don't think the crime should follow her around but likewise I don't think she should be celebrated either.

MrsBigginsPieShop · 25/08/2014 07:45

She's an indication of the times. In every single way.

meltedmonterayjack · 25/08/2014 07:59

I really cant bear thiS idea that a crime once committed must follow a person forever

To me that depends on what the crime was and what committing it might say about a person. Someone shoplifting a packet of mince from a supermarket for instance, is more understandable to me (and forgivable) than say, a carer who steals money out the purse of the old, confused person they are employed to look after.

NickiFury · 25/08/2014 08:21

Yes she should stay in that house claiming benefits out of the tax payers pocket so we can keep hating her for it and slagging her off forever.

What right does she have to better herself? How dare she take herself out of the firing line for public vitriol?

Can't win really can she?

angelos02 · 25/08/2014 08:29

She is a pointless person

Fullpleatherjacket · 25/08/2014 08:32

I agree with the PP who said she was manipulative. I think she has hooked up with Kellie in an effort to rebrand her image and because she had her down as a potential winner.

Will be interesting to see how long it lasts now Kellie has let the mask slip.

BeyondTheSea · 25/08/2014 10:55

Sorry I meant - the way she spoke to her DC was unkind - don't know where the king bit came from!

Gumnast2014 · 25/08/2014 21:49

She needs a bra please get her a bra

Captainbarnacles1101 · 25/08/2014 21:52

She does seem nice but I think George will win.

ilovechristmas1 · 25/08/2014 21:53

Grinnothing has changed in the bra front then

Dontgotosleep · 25/08/2014 21:57

Yeah she does. Isn't it funny how life can turn around though. Had someone said to her 12 months ago when she was on benefits that in a years time she would be on celebrity big brother she'd have probably laughed them out the place.
That saying is certainly true in her case. "Be nice to those on your way up because you might just meet them on the way back down.
I know we're not talking about him but I find that Leslie a bit of a bully.
