I was the same when a tv presented tweeted me, and she put kisses on the end! Lol

Idontseeanysontarans · 22/08/2014 10:06

YANBU I've had 2 retweets from famous (ish) people - one cricketer and one HP actor- and got ridiculously excited about both Smile

aurthersleep · 22/08/2014 11:44

I nearly pood in my pants with excitment when Ken Bruce read out my text on radio 2

TongueBiter · 22/08/2014 11:51

Same here with Davina McCall Grin

GoringBit · 22/08/2014 11:56

A friend is followed by Ricky Gervais. I don't like Ricky Gervais at all but was very Envy about it. But whatever, Dean Friedman follows me.

Fcukfifa · 22/08/2014 11:56

Haha I got a chufty on when Kelly Osborne retweeted and followed me!

Fcukfifa · 22/08/2014 11:57

Osbourne? The more I look at it the more I can't work out how it's spelled Hmm

ArcheryAnnie · 22/08/2014 11:58

I once got tweeted by Steve Backshall. You can imagine my reaction.

Lilicat1013 · 22/08/2014 12:31

I have got tweets/favourites/replies/birthday wishes by Mitch Pileggi and Robert Patrick and scream every time. It is always so exciting, I appreciate how kind they are to the fans and how much effort they make replying to people.

CarpeJugulum · 22/08/2014 12:33

Clare Balding replied to me. I grinned for ages.

Blithereens · 22/08/2014 12:33

YANBU! I love getting a tweet or favourite from the slebs. I'm a huge Buffy fan and SMG and I have the same birthday. She favourited a birthday tweet I sent her

damepeanutbutter · 22/08/2014 12:38

YANBU! I tweeted Clare Balding saying that I loved her book and she tweeted me back almost immediately; I felt like a minor celeb! I once tweeted Ken Follet about something in his Century Trilogy and he retweeted me to his 20,000 followers! My DD tweeted a picture of a mug she had received for her birthday to Rihanna, who favourited it and my DD got something like 200 followers from that ..... it is slightly sad that we feel touched by greatness when this happens, but I think it is perfectly normal. So big Grin to you!

nevereverpost · 22/08/2014 12:40

Come on now,ken bruce isnae minor

Is he even still alive? I used to write to him regularly when I was a SAHM, and it never failed to give me a buzz when he read my letters/cards out but that was over 25 years ago (well before tweeting texting!) I used to be wild about him but I'm jiggered if I can remember why. I don't mean that nastily, I seriously can't remember! He's got to be about 75 surely?(not that that's any age to die, of course!)

nevereverpost · 22/08/2014 12:41

I think it's pretty unanimous rectangle YADNBU

Wine to celebrate!

MrsDavidBowie · 22/08/2014 12:42

Thurlow · 22/08/2014 14:22

I once came first on Chris Evans' Top Tenuous (for Coronation Street). I was on a busy train listening listening on my headphones and I still went bright red and nearly jumped up and down on the seat Blush
