Idris Elba replied to me and follows me! That's about it I think... Oh and a few authors but I guess not celebs.

Ursaminor · 22/08/2014 22:28

I had a twitter conversation with Willie Pongo, one of the Reverend Richard Coles's dachshunds. Was totally thrilled.

UnMasterChef · 22/08/2014 23:30

I've just been back through my timeline, I've had a few authors reply, including JoJo Moyes and Joanne Harris and a few actors in the Archers, which I'm very excited about

MrsDavidBowie · 23/08/2014 08:49

of the twilight the darkness he has never replied to mine!
And coraltoes..lucky lady.

JustDontWantToSay · 23/08/2014 10:10

Best day of my life (inc wedding and dc births) was when Boris Johnson started following me on twitter :)

SpaceInvaders · 23/08/2014 12:33

Dec from Ant and Dec replied to one of my tweets. I had a face like this Grin Grin for ages after!

ThursdayLast · 23/08/2014 12:37

Jake Humphry replied to my reply to his tweet at 4am in the morning.
I think we had our DC at around the same time, I know I was up feeding.

I do t even like him THAT much, but I still got excited

Idontseeanysontarans · 23/08/2014 12:42

My MP retweeted me, forgot to mention that one.

bunique · 24/08/2014 15:39

Chris O'Dowd replied to a tweet about Thatcher, and Matt Lucas replied to a tweet over Christmas/New Year. Lovely Patrick Ness the author often replies/favourites tweets, he's ace!

OnIlkelyMoorBahtat · 24/08/2014 20:31

Mickey Rourke tweeted me a smiley face and two kisses! Secretly, I know in my heart it came from the young, sexy Mickey Rourke, not the older, um, odder-looking version Grin

Happyringo · 24/08/2014 20:38

I got a tweet from Eric Idle once, which left me starstruck! Yesterday I got a direct message from Chris Jarvis from cbeebies lol, which made hours of sitting through Step Inside and Show Me Show Me with DDs a bit more bearable!

Doobiedoobedoobie · 24/08/2014 20:45

I don't have twitter.

Is tweeting somebody the same kind of thing as writing on someone's wall or tagging them on facebook? And following them like friending them?

ApocalypseNowt · 24/08/2014 20:47

Professor Poet from the Rhyme Rocket follows me and has tweeted me more than once.

WhatTheFork · 24/08/2014 20:53

Reginald D Hunter (swoon) is my most famous tweet.

WhatTheFork · 24/08/2014 20:55

Oh and the musician Graham Gouldman followed me for a bit. I was most put out when he unfollowed me (not really) but didn't mention it next time I saw him!

crispandfruity · 24/08/2014 21:05

One of my tweets got mentioned in a guardian article. I was like a dog with 2 tails.

crispandfruity · 24/08/2014 21:08

Oh, and I disagreed once with a famous person and his fandom attacked me. One of them wrote a blog post dissing me which the famous person retweeted! Was hilarious!

BirdhouseInYourSoul · 24/08/2014 21:19

I've been tweeted by Zachary Levi and Simon Pegg. Both times I just floated around in a cloud of happy for a couple of hours.

I'm so easily pleased :o

coolaschmoola · 24/08/2014 21:31

I got a Christmas Day email from Carol on BBC breakfast. I'd emailed in asking them to wish my mum Merry Christmas as she was in hospital and we were living overseas. They did just that, which made me squee, and then just after the show finished I got an email from Carol saying she hoped my mum would get well soon, and wished us a merry Christmas Grin .

LineRunner · 24/08/2014 21:37

I was once one Sunday doing a long and pointless journey from north to south and stopped off at a little village cricket match in Hampshire for a picnic, and Ken Bruce was doing the commentary. He was very sweet.

loona13 · 24/08/2014 21:40

EL James congratulated me on my Valentine's baby :-)

WhatTheFork · 24/08/2014 23:18

Oh Christ I've just remembered a total flaming I got for disagreeing with something Jason Manford tweeted. By Jove, his followers are fierce! and he's still an ignorant band wagon jumping twuntage

ashtrayheart · 25/08/2014 00:04

Re: Galloway - was to do with his rape comments. Arsehole!

scandip · 26/08/2014 16:13

Richard Madely replied to me. I know he is a well known knob, but he was nice. Just seemed nice.

India Knight replied to me. I was sick of her sychophantic blethering about the birth of William and Kate's baby. I said, 'Why do you care?' and she told me I was bitter.

I once tweeted to Boy George after he made some disparaging remarks about George Michael. He just sounded bitchy and mean so I said he was jealous. His responded by saying I was ugly which is his go to reponse for anyone who doesn't kiss his ass. Then he blocked me. It was my best pic too! Ha!

Meg Rosoff favourited a tweet I sent about her book How I live Now. Would have preferred a retweet, but y' know.
