He just can't follow the rules. I believe a healthy dose of harshness will teach him a lesson. I have two dcs and a dh who have been easy to train. This whurling durbish is a law to himself. Should I LTB??

Aww. But he looks soooooo cute.

Maybe he met a girl and lost track of time?

Tweenangst · 17/08/2014 21:41

He is beautiful, and has only three weeks ago come to love with us. My love for him is boundless but he is NOT PLAYING BY THE RULES!!!

He is far too good looking to LTB
Give him another chance Wink

Tweenangst · 17/08/2014 21:43

He has made friends with all the cats in the neighbourhood. He's friendly and lovely. I may be slightly giddy in love with him x

Cat flap?

Tweenangst · 17/08/2014 21:44

However we have one neighbour who hates him, so of course he has been in her flat every day. I have had to but her many bottles of wine to apologise!

Awwww, he is cute. Smile

Cats do not follow house rules. They expect you to be their servants really.

We have a cat flap. It was against my better judgment, but we inherited it from the previous owners of our house, and our cat (who we had already had for three years then) took to it straight away. Not unknown though, for us to come down in the morning and find disemboweled field mice, toads, frogs etc. which he had brought back and dumped across the kitchen floor. Angry

Tweenangst · 17/08/2014 21:45

No chance of a cat flat, we are on first floor!

This is him wishing we had a cat flap

You could try locking him out, but you just know how guilty you're going to feel about it later on and he's left out in the cold......

thecageisfull · 17/08/2014 21:51

You need a cat ladder

Pointlessfan · 17/08/2014 21:52

Aw bless, what a sweetheart! I'd be letting him sleep on my bed rather than locking him out! Perhaps that is why my own cat is spoilt rotten...

hoobypickypicky · 17/08/2014 21:54

YABU. You must dump the DH out the door and allow the bundle of gorgeous fluffiness his side of the bed and his steak dinner.

Tsk. That cat hasn't trained you very well, has he?

Purplepoodle · 17/08/2014 21:55

Chuck him out

Salmotrutta · 17/08/2014 21:56

You think you've got it hard OP?

My bad boys refuse to drink the fresh clean water we provide in their own bowls.

They drink out of manky puddles and any garden receptacle they come across.

Bastards.

Tweenangst · 17/08/2014 21:57

Omg I need a cat ladder!! And also he is now home and sleeping on my pillow. I have never had a cat before and I bloody loves him!

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/08/2014 21:59

He is playing by the rules, his rules that is.

You can't lock them out all night, he'll find someone else to love him.

Salmotrutta · 17/08/2014 22:00

Yes.

My previous cat used to visit the neighbours and sleep on their bed! Shock

thecageisfull · 17/08/2014 22:01

catladder.blogspot.co.uk There's a whole blog about them!!!

It's true what they say. The internet is all about cats

Justawaterformeplease · 17/08/2014 22:01

He will rob you blind and leave you broken-hearted. DO NOT TRUST HIM.

Vitalstatistix · 17/08/2014 22:01

You appear to be under the misapprehension that you make the rules.

Is there something wrong with you? are you alright?

Allow me to explain to you exactly how this works.

You are staff.

Tweenangst · 17/08/2014 22:02
