We have a cat flap. It was against my better judgment, but we inherited it from the previous owners of our house, and our cat (who we had already had for three years then) took to it straight away. Not unknown though, for us to come down in the morning and find disemboweled field mice, toads, frogs etc. which he had brought back and dumped across the kitchen floor.
