I had a lovely dream about David Tennant the other night and now I can't get him out of my head. I've been googling him, watching him on YouTube and having all sorts of shocking day dreams about him. I have this continual feeling that something exciting is going to happen, and when I pin it down, it's just that he's sort of in the back of my mind all the time. For goodness sake. I'm like a love struck teenager. I'm happily married and 42! Blimey the man is lovely though.

Have you seen the David Tennant you tube montage Oh My God? Just Google, it's a.m.a.z.i.n.g.

Ohhh yes, I'd forgotten Alan Rickman and Philip Glenister...! Shock I'm also quite soppy about Robert Glenister (Ash from Hustle) and remember him from that programme where the theme song was something like, "What's up Ken, is it all going wrong?". I can't remember what it was called but I loved it so much... might have been "The Heartbreak Kid". Blush

Philip Glenister is a good actor, almost universally loved; I can't imagine what it must be like for his wife (Beth Goddard) who is a terrible actress IMO.

I do love older men; Donald is my senior by some 30+ Grin

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 14/08/2014 21:11

... and I can see I have much competition for Donald! expat and RiverTam as well as OP! Shock

gordy... Michael Palin; he's very nice but not a 'bad boy', is he? I think I like villains... Grin

I am 43, same age as Kiefer. Think his dad is around my day's age, but who cares? I would.

TheFirmament · 14/08/2014 21:53

I don't fancy the kind of man who advertises on dating sites for a woman 20 years younger, or habitually trades in his wife for a younger model.

But if DT simply happened to fall in love with someone younger, and would, theoretically, consider me (1 year older) – then I will let him off. :)

squoosh · 14/08/2014 21:56

Anyone who fancies David Tenant should be treated with deep suspicion.

The man is a human mange tout for God's sake.

SolidGoldBrass · 14/08/2014 22:04

I remember when Gene Hunt mania was at its height, Glenister was reading the bedtime story on Cbeebies for a week or so. Lots of mums fanning themselves on sofas...

AnathemaDevice · 14/08/2014 22:24

Ooh,I love Michael Palin and Alan Rickman, even though they're both older than my parents.
I think Gordy is onto something with men who make you laugh. Another one of my recent crushes is Adam Hills. Not immediately physically attractive, but there's something about him that is very appealing.

RustyBear · 14/08/2014 22:31

Have to say I could never see why everyone was so obsessed with Philip Glennister. Good actor, yes, but about as sexy as a suet pudding....

nocoolnamesleft · 14/08/2014 23:30

Oh, yes, DT is rather yummy. And I have to agree that he is even more gorgeous live on stage. And when the guy (stranger) next to me guffawed late and loud...he winked at me.

Swoon.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 15/08/2014 07:45

He winked at you! Shock

farewellfigure · 15/08/2014 08:52

I would love to see David Tennant wink, whether it be at me or even someone else. I think he would wink really nicely.

All of the above and Hugh Laurie if you please.

Cereal0ffender · 15/08/2014 09:06

I would pass out if david Tennant winked at me

farewellfigure · 15/08/2014 11:35

Oh Hugh Laurie is definitely allowed in the club. He could make a person laugh very easily.

I am currently eating lunch in the cafe David Tennant was filming in about 3 weeks ago. I may even be using the same fork.
