AIBU to have got myself in a right old lather over David Tennant?

I had a lovely dream about David Tennant the other night and now I can't get him out of my head. I've been googling him, watching him on YouTube and having all sorts of shocking day dreams about him. I have this continual feeling that something exciting is going to happen, and when I pin it down, it's just that he's sort of in the back of my mind all the time. For goodness sake. I'm like a love struck teenager. I'm happily married and 42! Blimey the man is lovely though.

My husband likes the avengers film and I always grumpily agree to watch it...secretly I love Loki and actually watch it when DH isn't even home!

My friend dated David T briefly back in the 90s before anyone was famous. She's now a lesbian and married to a lady. Make of that what you will...

farewellfigure · 14/08/2014 16:26

ARGH she dated him? No way. Maybe she married a lady because she knew no other man would ever ever live up to him...

OP have you seen ? Heh heh. I realise it will push you over the edge into total gibbering tennant-lust, but hey ho :)

(Keep watching, you will get your reward. In fact it is v-e-r-y much worth watching the whole thing, if you haven't seen it, which you can get from the digital theatre website.)

Love a bit of Tennant me.

And come on expat, don't hold back! :o

expatinscotland · 14/08/2014 16:31

I am married to a Scotman, but DT is a munter. I'd definitely go gay than touch him with a ten-foot barge pole. That Cumberbatch thing looks like he's made of plastic, too.

browneyedgirl86 · 14/08/2014 16:32

Ah farewell that scene was sad. I was disappointed when we went to the Dr Who experience last weekend and there wasn't a lot of David Tennant. I think if he had a waxwork like Matt smith has I might have been trying to take it home lol

farewellfigure · 14/08/2014 16:33

Oh to be Catherine Tate. That kiss went on for AGES. Thank you!

I wouldn't turn DT away if he came round to ask me out to dinner.
My affections were more towards John Barrowman, but I'm the wrong gender for him AND he's married.

I clearly have a thing for Scottish men who appear in Dr. Who. Are there any more?

farewellfigure · 14/08/2014 16:34

expat who do you go for? I'm curious. David and Benedict are sort of cut from the same cloth I guess so I can see why you'd go for neither.

Mmm, Tennant is rather delicious. DH is a bit Tennantesque.

farewellfigure · 14/08/2014 16:35

Christopher Eccleston was a nice dcotor, but he's not scottish.

I like the 6 foot thing.

ChubbyKitty · 14/08/2014 16:37

Yanbu - have you seen the Christmas episode of QI with him on? He sings Auld Lang Syne.

MmmSmile

trikken · 14/08/2014 16:38

Love DT. Watch an episode of DW with him in right now. He's so yummy.

expatinscotland · 14/08/2014 16:40

Jason Issacs can ring my bell any day.

Notso · 14/08/2014 16:41

Urgh! YABU I can't see the appeal at all.

As for Cumberbatch, someone on here once described him as a buttock with eyes, I concurred vigorously.

AlleyCat11 · 14/08/2014 16:41

Just finished watching Broadchurch. I must say he is brooding...

farewellfigure · 14/08/2014 16:42

I just searched David Tennant kissing on youtube. I think I might have to rewatch Blackpool. I'd forgotten how raunchy it is.

I'm so happy you posted about this!

Have a racy dream the other night about Ed Sheeran Blush
I've been spending my days in YouTube watching him, and daydreaming

I'm 32 and a mum of 2, single so if ed is reading this 'pm me' Wink

In one interview he was talking about settling down and having kids, I swear my ovaries were screaming.

There is something about him....

Where have you been for the last year bonkers?

AIBU to have got myself in a right old lather over David Tennant?
farewellfigure · 14/08/2014 16:48

a long, pointy, thin jabby willy

ARGH he so does not have one of those.

Clammy? No I cannot agree with clammy either. This is dreadful.

Anyway, I'm still feeling better that it's not just me who has totally inappropriate crushes on people. Phew.

Now Malcolm Tucker, well that's another inappropriate crush. I just loved his phone sign off. 'Fuckity Bye'. Classic.
