It happens all the time and it's beginning to fray my nerves. Happened again today. Having a quiet coffee, minding my own business, when a woman walks over and starts chatting to him. He's a happy, smiley chap and it seems people can't resist him. This would be fine but she has to go and ruin it by looking at me and saying 'your grandson is lovely'.Shock He's my son! I'm only forty fucking one. God I must look wrecked.

When the funeral director came round to discuss the arrangements for DMs funeral, he looked at me and DB and asked who was the eldest.

He's 12 fuckin years older than me! I did look like shit though

When I was 14 I was out for lunch with my dad and the waitress (who can't have been more than 21) asked if we wanted to pay separately. ..I actually said no my dad will pay and instead of just slinking off she said oh I thought this was a date.
I always looked a bit older as a teenager and think being quite tall would not have helped but my poor dad was about 50 and worried he looked like a dirty old man. from then on I had to call him dad loudly a few times per lunch or dinner whenever we were out.

Sorry i realise my post is slightly off topic I know but people always think I am older (apparently not because of how I look these days just "have an air" apparently)

Yabvu . False teeth are expensive and not very heavy.

I think you should carry something large and heavy for throwing at them!

In a pub a couple of years ago I was mistaken for my dad's wife. I was about 33 and dad was 28 when I was born, so he was 61. Ok, if I wasn't his double, they might have thought he was my sugar daddy, but not sure where they thought my brother fitted into things...?
