I would never ever consider buying off the one it was added to ages ago, the place is just plain scary. I never comment. I also wouldn't want the aggro of even giving something away for free on there - as I said, it's a scary place....but I can't bring myself to leave the group as the ridiculous bickering is entertaining on a rainy day.

My local page has someone selling a Hello Kitty ring binder for 25p! I mean, seriously?! Is it even worth it for 25p?! I would be really embarrassed to hand that over to someone and ask them to give me 25 pence. Is it just me who would be a bit mortified? I could probably dig around the back of the sofa and find more than 25p if times were that tough.

I put up a post on my local site giving things away for free, people would not show up, want you to deliver things to them or turn up and want you to carry it to their car and things like that.

I have given away things to some lovely people who thanked me and were no trouble at all.

I find it quite shocking the way some people behave on that free site.
