I think we need to remember that AIBU can also be for daft things we discuss.

Where we 'escape' for a while, and forget our worries...

I do hope some of you feel the same.

My brain hurts (its very muggy at the mo) and wont work properly.

If anyone has a daft, giggle- rousing AIBU, please contribute.

I may disappear for a while, as pesky family require feeding.

Just when I decide to have an evenings mnetting 5 minutes peace, they want food. Why me ?

The family have returned but have not noticed. Angry

I ventured onto a cat thread today in the spirit of checking out other areas of MN. Bloody hell, it made AIBU look like tea with the vicar!

magimedi · 25/07/2014 20:37

Should you care to click on the link of my crevice tool and hover over it, a) it moves & b) it has a kink in it!!!!!!!

Sparklingbrook · 25/07/2014 20:37

All the cat stuff has boggled my mind Maryz so I had to resort to housework.

Sparklingbrook · 25/07/2014 20:38

Kinkycrevicetool. There's a namechange right there magi.

MrsVamos · 25/07/2014 20:39

Maryz

3 threads ? Dear me.

Get a raggie. They are lovely.

GarlicJulyKit · 25/07/2014 20:46

Well, I hope you'll have your Maine Coon neutered before it's even born, MrsV. Or MN wants to know WHY exactly!

My crevice tool performed adequately. Though I do like the look of that bendy one.
The places it could reach. Boldly going where no crevice tool has gone before

Gawd, isn't the neutering thing driving you nuts ? Fnar fnar.

I could send you one of my raggies, Maryz. Loopy as feck, they are. Lovely, but loopy, lazy cats. Smile

Tell DH he has to do midnight run. Then call out a locksmith to change locks.

Either that or get a lion/tiger. That should stop him getting back in.

Sparklingbrook · 25/07/2014 20:52

Ooh yes enormouse, you could vac round corners. Grin

MrsVamos · 25/07/2014 20:54

PS How long have we known one another ? I knows you are in Ireland.

They have boats and planes and trains that go to Ireland, don't they ?

Anyway, a really good breeder would deliver a cat to you.

ginslinger · 25/07/2014 21:00

Yeah but the tiger has to e neutered Maryz

How many YABU YOU PFB BITCH replies would I get if I started a thread telling the 'good' people of AIBU what I've spent tonight doing?

Making a weaning guide, including recipes and instructions on freezing etc, because I fear OH will just chuck the baby a few fish fingers and chips and say he's baby-led weaning. I refuse to consider the prospect of leaving her with the ILs without a guide to the food she eats and how to warm it up.

The really PFB bit? We've still got two and a half months before weaning starts and about 10 years before I leave her with anyone

scottishmummy · 25/07/2014 22:32

Leave dh and in-laws a guide.theyll ignore it,but not tell you
Your wean will be munching sausage roll and biscuit with granny

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 25/07/2014 22:48

I can deal with sausage roll and biscuits, it's the huge amounts of salt in absolutely everything! Shock Grin

enormouse · 25/07/2014 22:49

moomin I'm sure he'll cope better than you think. My Dp manages fine now feeding the toddler and baby. Although he does have a fondness for meals that are made up of processed potato+processed meat/fish+baked beans.

I only keep a finite number of the above products in the house. So when they're gone, they're gone. I also meal plan which must be stuck to for frugality reasons.
