I think we need to remember that AIBU can also be for daft things we discuss.

Where we 'escape' for a while, and forget our worries...

I do hope some of you feel the same.

My brain hurts (its very muggy at the mo) and wont work properly.

If anyone has a daft, giggle- rousing AIBU, please contribute.

I may disappear for a while, as pesky family require feeding.

Just when I decide to have an evenings mnetting 5 minutes peace, they want food. Why me ?

Will my feet fit into those trainers? swollen buggers.

Might dance round the kitchen to Led Zep instead whilst cooking fried eggs.

Any excuse. Grin

Viviennemary · 25/07/2014 18:43

I agree. Let's have a few threads to make us laugh. I'm getting fed up of this heat.

MrsVamos · 25/07/2014 18:43

Ooh, Sparks. Sounds exciting. Smile

Do they all 'tickle' ? Wink

Good God woman, no hoovering stairs now.

I'm listening to radio 2 and yes I would still shag Robert Plant if he sang to me.

True fact.

MrsVamos · 25/07/2014 18:46

Still

Rule 1 swollen feet = no walking.

Dancing while cooking is more than ample exercise ! Smile

Just don't do any mad spins. You forget you are holding a hot pan !

sparkling it would depend on how many flights of stairs you had and how much sparklingcat had moulted Grin. My carpets are mainly grit from in the garden and cat hair ATM.

I'm in awe of some of the contortions some of you are getting up to in your foundation garments and the thought of naked rowing, even behind closed doors, is not for the faint hearted.

I've been trapped in a pair of trousers in a cubicle at The Gap once, I think I sweated enough from the thought of having to ask for help that I could roll them off...naturally I had to buy them, as no one else would have wanted them after that Blush

GrowlLikeMargeSimpson · 25/07/2014 18:49

Maryz - you need one of these bras by Anita.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 25/07/2014 18:50

My tee total ds likes those parrot things. Apparently they don't count. Damn you all now I need to go to the supermarket for some, er,.... "Bread" yes that's right, "bread". I can celebrate as dh is working over (ohhhhh, but I get the bed to myself, yay. And I can drink without judgey looks. And I can have the fan on-he doesn't like the fan. He's crazy, btw)

Pubes are a pain when it comes to swimwear, aren't they ? Smile

I hate swimwear. Hard enough to put on, then getting it wet. Urgh.

The groans of women wrestling off wet swimwear can be quite concerning sometimes. I do wonder about unisex changing rooms, you know...

I went out for 'bread' today. I had a lovely mooch and had a lovely banana shake (coldest thing cafe offered) and a delicious fresh fruit tart.

I will need 'milk' tomorrow !

I got my dog shaved today (not a euphemism) and he looks really funny.

He has been sulking since 11am.
Of course the temperature dropped by 10 degrees and it started raining as soon as I had handed over my thirty quid

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 25/07/2014 18:59

Oh and I've just agreed to do a 10k Great Manchester run next year. I can't run to save my life. I have 10 months to turn myself into a runner.

Last time I attempted something like this, I did a half marathon and JUST got back before they opened all the roads Hmm

That is really insensitive to the unbollocked community Maryz

I am shocked

Sparklingbrook · 25/07/2014 19:17

I only have 13 stair steps, i might just do two, have a break and see how it goes.
Gave Sparkling cat a good brush and a finish of with one shit of damp Bounty so hopefully the stairs aren't too hairy. Need to empty vacuum jug thingy though, Sad

meltedmonterayjack · 25/07/2014 19:18

It's still sooooo sticky out there. I can't face the thought of an hour's walk. I'm so tired today too. I'm currently torn between forcing myself to go do it or giving up completely and having a very early night

How about us walky ones on here all tell ourselves and each other we CAN go out tonight and pound those streets? Or not? I feel we are BU to not do it but also BU to do it bearing in mind the heat and humidity?

Sparklingbrook · 25/07/2014 19:20

Two walks tomorrow? I do my five miles down the canal and I think it's a bit late for remote towpaths,

MrsVamos · 25/07/2014 19:20

My muttley would never forgive me if I got her shaved. I could just leave her ruff and mane and I would have a lion-dog.

What on earth is one shit of damp bounty ?

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 25/07/2014 19:21

Kitchen roll with a bit of water on MrsV. but only 'one shit' like in the ad. Wink

Writerwannabe83 · 25/07/2014 19:23

I once sent my boyfriend to the supermarket to a list of things we needed, including toilet roll.

When he came back I emptied the bags and saw that instead of toilet roll he had bought kitchen roll. I questioned him on it and he said he saw the words "Wipe and it's Clean" written across the packaging and assumed it was referring to bums and was toilet paper.

Men Hmm

MrsVamos · 25/07/2014 19:25

I'm not walking tonight. I'm up before 6 doing the muttley trek at the moment.

She's trying to sit in a shaded part of the garden at the moment. But DD is out there with water bombs, and she loves to chase them, and play catch with them. She's looking tired and hot so unless its cooled by 10 no walkies tonight.

OP posts:
MrsVamos · 25/07/2014 19:27

Ahh, I get it Sparks. Smile

We use plenty of one shit here too.

The claim is wrong. One shit is never enough. Either that or my clan are right messy feckers.
