Sorry, another dilemma pre wedding this weekend. Just discovered mildew in my cupboard(100 year old house) and a couple of my dresses are wrecked. Also 7months post baby and not quite down to size. The only dresses that fit and look any good are a white/cream calvin Klein one, with black large diamond at waist, which is a shift dress of the smart office variety, or a cream floaty number. Neither look anything like a wedding dress, but wibu to wear white to a wedding?

I think dress in picture is fine. Black accessories a good plan.

I wouldn't have minded at all at my wedding.

I once wore a white trouser suit with a bright top to a wedding. Hope that was ok! (It was many years ago anyway)

Both dresses are now safely away in a wardrobe (not the mildewy cupboard). Don't know what i am going to wear but my friend is lending me something tomorrow and at least i wont have to worry about whether my aunt is glaring at me all day! Thanks for all the advice. I didn't give a rat's arse what people wore to my own wedding, but o can imagine my mil making comments if someone had dressed inappropriately (no idea, didn't notice!)
