A woman is more dangerous....

That's what my son's new tattoo on his chest says. It supposed to finish ..."than a loaded gun".

Thoughts please?

He is clearly slow to react!

HoneyDragon · 11/07/2014 12:51

Women are more dangerous than sea cucumbers but less dangerous than hippos?

BigfootFiles · 11/07/2014 12:53

You could retrieve it but keep something of the sentiment by adding words at the start, e.g.:

"Loving a woman is more dangerous when you love with all your heart"?

Most people I know who had break-up tatts went for the "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" affirmative approach rather than channelling bitterness into ink.

Bifauxnen · 11/07/2014 12:55

Not unfair at all, others have managed it. And I didn't single out mothers, op could just as easily be a dad. I'd still think the same.

Lottiedoubtie · 11/07/2014 12:58

Shock were there any other signs he was this much of a twat before he had it done?

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 11/07/2014 12:59

Nothing to add except poor you OP. Thanks

LemonSquares · 11/07/2014 13:01

when not listen too

when not loved

when not appreciated

Could go along those lines - but then finsihing it would mean years of missing out on fun with marker pens for all his friends and family. Though I'd go with Honey Dragons suggestion.

BolshierAyraStark · 11/07/2014 13:03

Have I missed how old he is?

Either way, yes it would be stupid to complete it as planned, just leave it as it is then it can be mysterious BS.

Tell him to cool off about the dumping before he visits the ink shop again...

OxfordBags · 11/07/2014 13:50

I wouldn't know if misogynists are good or bad in bed, SaucyJack. I've never demeaned myself enough to fuck one.

MrsKoala · 11/07/2014 14:21

Actually i know of a few misogynists and according to the many women they sleep who i have spoken to, they are amazing in bed. Often it's all about performance for them and being 'good' is part of their ego trip.

I would think something like '...eating raw chicken at a bbq/squirrel attacks (statistically speaking)' might tick a post modern ironic box and come across as a piss take out of the kind of twats who actually say this (erroneous) shit.

ballsballsballs · 11/07/2014 14:27

Has he considered counselling?

WannabeMrsJoshHomme · 11/07/2014 14:32

I can't say it would have bothered me as a teenager (assuming he is also a teen?).

LemonSquares · 11/07/2014 14:41

... than nut stealing squirrels (fact).

Though perhaps Wannabe right and teens would be less bothered and it something that would cause more problems as he ages?

RevoltingPeasant · 11/07/2014 14:49

Ewwwwwwww.

I have nothing more helpful to add.

Although AlexReid is clearly trolling. No one would sink that low.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 11/07/2014 14:56

........When she has your bollocks in her hand.

Just saying.

CouldntGiveAMonkeysToss · 11/07/2014 15:23

I actually think that would be quite scary for any future partners. Can you imagine undressing and seeing that! If it was me I'd have alarm bells going off in my head and run a mile. No sane woman would be with someone who goes so far as to actually have the fact that he hates women tattooed across his chest.

Thumbwitch · 11/07/2014 15:32

I suppose he could add "...if you don't treat her well" but still. The point is it's a stupid start to any comment and he's still a tit.

I'm interested to see what his reaction to the thread will be, but since we're all women (are we? I haven't checked to see if there are any of the male posters on here), it's not likely to be well received, surely!

littlemslazybones · 11/07/2014 15:35

Depending on the font and with the addition of an image, maybe you could make the word woman into warrior?

AltheaVestrit · 11/07/2014 15:46

Well, I left him to read the thread. It didn't take him long so I don't suppose he read it all.

He was full of bumptious bluster to start with, then he backed down a bit and said he didn't realise it was misogynistic. He had it done when he was in a bad place and hurting, but I think this thread has given him food for thought.

Thanks all.

Could he have a c and a t added to make it Catwoman is more dangerous (than the Penguin)

Thumbwitch · 11/07/2014 15:53

Let's hope so, Althea!

PeterParkerSays · 11/07/2014 15:57

I'm guessing he hasn't taken it well then..... Grin

PeterParkerSays · 11/07/2014 15:57

Cross post with OP

MrsKoala · 11/07/2014 15:59

:( Poor him. It hurts like a mother fucker doesn't it? I hope he can salvage the tattoo to something more positive. I mean does he really want a reminder of this pain forever?

Madamecastafiore · 11/07/2014 16:00

Because she knows not to shag someone with such a stupid tattoo.
