Why do people keep moaning about it? - I love it!

If you don't like it hide the bleedin' thing, or even easier, just don't read any of the threads - there's 100's of other sections to moan about!

If someone comes on and says that 'people on this thread have been really nasty' and the 'people on this thread' say "where? Show me and I'll try and explain" that is not goading. It is calling someone on a snide remark that they refuse to back up.

I wasn't even goading a goader.

I'm being goading for goading a goader I'm not even goading.

Does anyone else singsong (in their head) "I'm reporting you" in the manner of a 6 year old school girl? I imagine a small child flouncing off to tell 'Miss' with her plaits swinging behind her.

I reported HL. MYFK seems to have done the same thing.
I will let mumsne sort it out.

They will just delete the entire thread I would have thought.

Maryz... What's the difference between that and a poster starting a thread saying that posters are cunts? They're not named there but they're ripped into in absentia. I'm not laying that at anybody's door in particular but all anybody needs to do is use 'cunt' as a search term and it's there in black and white.

The hypocrisy amazes me; were somebody from Netmums to start a thread here saying that they really didn't see the point of mumsnet, that it was rubbish, etc, they'd be handed their arse and told to get back whence they came. There's a regular slew of threads in the same vein about AIBU... Is there a difference?

Anybody and everybody can be goady/cowardly sometimes so it's hardly fair to pile on sienna - or anybody else - to name and shame when they wouldn't/don't. It would be reported for breaking talk guidelines anyway so perhaps we should just accept that very many posters like to have a little or big bitch about other posters from time to time and leave it at that?

exactly. Another 'ooh you're all nasty and I'm going to report you but I'm not saying who'.
Why am I picturing pigtails and white knee socks?

HaroldLloyd · 10/07/2014 23:37

Ok. Well that's the most bizarre thing I have ever been reported for.

thornrose · 10/07/2014 23:37

Setting, I was talking to Scottish Mummy, who said she can't remember any names of anyone that posts.

I couldn't give a toot about Sienna's list, though it would say it was patently obvious who she was having a dig at.

So if you want to report the goader, I think you have made an error of judgement there.

Never mind.

so Lying to get around talk guidelines it's okay for someone to make vague 'tarring everyone' comments and refuse to specify?
Nice!

It's unbelievable Harold.

As we said, smacks of a child skipping off to 'tell teacher' while sticking her tongue out at the person she's trying to 'get into trouble'.
A bit pathetic.

Anyway, seeing as we're all in the shit let's share a bottle of vodka behind the bike shed. Hopefully the prefects won't see us and tell!
