that isn't what friends tell me re the slathering and what I observe. a well endowed friend when I was out with her had some vile bloke come over and say 'are they real?' as an opening line. It's different to arses, no one is told that having a big arse is more attractive than a small arse.

I am a 36J at this stage of my pregnancy (normally a 32F) and one of my friends 'confided' in me the other day that she 'hates big breasts' because they're so unattractive. I am reconsidering how much of a friend she is. I wouldn't choose to have them this big and have surgery to enhance them but having big breasts is not in itself freaky, or a disability, or ugly, or any of the other things that have been implied here. Some of the comments on this thread are as offensive as that made by my 'friend'.

wow, I never thought about that, how well can somebody feel their breasts fully after a huge implant like that? Don't any nerves get disrupted? When they're fake, does it feel like you're carrying 2 water balloons around on your chest or do they feel more like part of you?

If you're naturally big breasted then fine the issue is women feeling the need to run out and fill their chest with silicone on order to feel attractive or valid.

yes sharon quite. I know a young lady of 21 and out of her 3 best friends 2 have had breast enlargements. It's a really sad reflection on society that young women feel that this is necessary.

And it's interesting, day in day out we are filled with messages that big breasts are more attractive and the ideal. But seemingly on this thread that isn't how some people with larger breasts feel.

The size of your breasts really should be a non issue whether big or small. Different women have different body shapes.

Sometimes I wonder if men like very large and obviously enhanced breasts because they indicate the lengths that the woman is prepared to go to to please men.

To me naturally shaped breasts are more attractive but the men I've spoken to about it seem to feel differently, almost mesmerizing by the size and obviousness of enhanced breasts.
The fact that the shape is quite different from natural breasts doesn't seem to be an issue.

MN has taught me that a lot of (probably most?) women tie their self esteem up with the size of their breasts. Look at the bra intervention threads. Some people are delighted just to have a better fit, but many (?most) are most happy because they've ended up with bigger looking boobs.

Maybe everybody else knew that already. That women care so much about their size. Shocked me to learn. As bad as men with their willies.

Friend had a double mastectomy for cancer ,happy to show me her scars, really didn't miss them at all. Never got chance for reconstruction not that I'm sure she would have bothered. Said the only people who really stared at her flatness was a certain type... well groomed & push-up bra style.

Given the choice I'd prefer 'aspirins on an ironing board' I can see that large breasts look attractive and men clearly think so, but for me that nowhere near compensates for the inconvenience of having them.

Given the choice I will stick with what I've got but tbh I'm broadly happy with my body anyway. Perhaps that makes me unusual. .....

For the best part, pregnancy and weight gain aside, there is not much you can do about boob size is there? They are what they are.

You can like them or loathe them, but without surgery, you can't really change them, the same as you can't change the way your nose looks or the way your elbow looks.

I would love to have small boobs. I would love to be able to buy an off the peg bra, instead of the expensive style which is the only one in the shop that fits me sort of relatively well. I would love not to have sore skin underneath the wires of my bra where the bra digs in because I have to wear it tight enough to support. I would love not to have the dips in my shoulders where my bone has changed shape because of wearing hefty bras since being a teen. I would love to wear a tight top without looking tarty. I would love to wear a floaty top without looking pregnant!

Her hands aren't great, either, they really stood out to me. Perhaps she has a manual labour job. People get work done on their faces & boobs/tums, but you can tell their ages from their hands & necks.

Large implants do not prevent you sleeping on your front.

They do often end up with a sloping sag just as none enhanced breasts do its just less noticeable.

Depending on the type of implant you can either feel them or not. I expect the ones you are all discussing are the ones that the surgeon adds to they tend to be a bit harder than pre filled so yes you could tell by touching.

If she had cohesive gummies then chances are no you couldn't.

Breast implants if no complications occur do not mean you loose sensation long term they also do not prevent breast feeding.

People's nipples are not symmetrical naturally.

Yes there are plenty of uk trained surgeons who would be happy to do this and the main complication very large (for body) implants risk is symastia (sp)

And many many women who have very large natural breasts will opt for a implant rather than reduction if life events or age result in tissue loss. Frequent reasons are its what they are used to,the don't want the scaring from reduction,or they just like them.
