It's up there will 'hollibobs' for me.

I think the sentence 'off on hollibobs with the hubster' (which I've just seen on FB) might tip me over the edge.

When DD goes away on sports tournament, she always shortens the place name where she goes e.g "off to Invers for hockey, someone txt me" (Invercargill) or off to KP for Surf someone mail me". (Korey Point).

Really annoys me to wonder why she can't be bothered to put a few extra letters in and some people like me don't what those places are.

I don't know if this is a new 'trend' or not but my DH's cousin has recently started to post pictures of her and her friends feet in sandals on FB! Every time I log in, I'm like Confused at my newsfeed because it's full of people's feet! Hmm WTF?!

i think, if everyone stopped posting stuff that annoyed other people then facebook would just be empty. i personally hate stupid fake scaremongering posts that are false and can be found t be false by a quick google (the woman at the petrol station/leaving bottles of water in cars etc etc etc), people banging on about their nights out and then hangovers the next day, posts that are along the lines of 'oomg cant believe what has happened!' 'what' 'ill pm you'. just. bloody. write. it. or. shut. up. also 'heaven has a new angel' but not saying who has died.

people a obviously annoyed by me calling my husband hubster. and probably my endless photos of my children.

The foot thing is a charity which is attempting to make its own 'no make up selfie' trend
They are calling them 'footfies' or something grim. Can't even remember which charity, so it isn't working very well...

akwardsazzle · 30/06/2014 10:47

no, they are not my 'lil ones' - i have been know to refer to them as the kiddiewinks though.... ooh the shame!

IAmANightOwl · 30/06/2014 10:54

sparechange Really? There is no mention of charity, just pictures and the odd comment about what they're up to that day? Confused Weird...

Noshing sounds rude to me ... And the others are just irritating.

That's just reminded me that I absolutely detest the word 'kiddies' Angry I don't know why it winds me up so much, but I hate it - 'I'm taking the kiddies to the beach today' Angry

sparechange Possibly but I think they're just weird as there is no mention of pledging £3 to any charity or anything Hmm

Lil woman - No she's your three year old child, she's not a little woman and won't be for at least ten years. Makes my eyes bleed.

"Yorkiepoo" and "Westiepoo" - yuk.

"Minibeasts" - what's wrong with calling them insects?

At an open farm we once heard a mum talking to her toddler about the barbers. Then we realised they were looking at sheep and she was saying "Baa-Baa's"

NO THEY'RE NOT, THEY'RE SHEEP. And it's not a "Neddy" IT'S A HORSE.

I am guilty of hubster occasionally, but it's something I tend to use at home, not all over FB.

Most of these press my buttons - I can't bring myself to use text speak even when I'm sending a text!

A friend of a friend had posted something on FB last week and it was so full of abbreviations and 'trendy' mis-spellings I genuinely had trouble reading it.

I nearly asked someone at work about minibeasts today too. Wonder if we will end up with a generation of children who don't know what an 'insect' is Hmm .

My friends refer to us as "Ladies" for every group email. Drives me nuts. I'd rather do "bitchez"
