I feel quite bad.

This person is an acquaintance, She was a single parent for a few months, then she met someone who pretty much moved in, he was paying her bills for her and moved in properly earlier this year.

She has always worked full time with a salary of around 20k.

She seems to have an awful lot of money, and, as a single parent myself, I couldnt quite work it out. However, I have seen her tax credits renewal form as she didnt understand something and asked me to have a look for her, and shes claiming to be a lone parent, working 16.3 hours a week, earning 12k a year less than she actually is.

She is also claiming housing benefit as a single parent.

So, I have completed the DWP form and sent it off. I couldnt help it, it makes me see red.

But I now feel terrible.

Corey you just switch to JSA when the child is 5, and you can stay on that for years as long as you keep signing, show a vague attempt to look for a job and go to the work placement programmes they eventually send you on which you can still stay on. And if you're not jealous why have you made some snide comment 3 or 4 times now about how unfair the scheme was and how she put someone like you out of a home as if on purpose and made a profit at sale?? The law at the time said she had the right to buy her flat. She worked bloody hard, she saved, and she bought it. Yes she sold it later for a profit, she also rented it out at one point. That was her right and an opportunity she was given and took, with no help from anyone entirely on her own after the start in life she had. I am incredibly proud of her for that and you do just sound bitter. One minute you criticise her for breaking the law and working to save the money, then you criticise her for abiding by the law and getting on the property ladder and out of the system. Seems the only way she could have won in your eyes was to stay in the council flat an extra 15 odd years before she could have afforded a deposit to buy a normal flat (not BTR) and in the mean time have kids on benefits and not be able to work for a few years, certainly not 3 jobs, and she wouldn't have met her husband either so who knows if she'd got with someone working too and she would have needed a big mortgage for a normal flat which she probably wouldn't have been able to afford at the time if she was still in the council flat with 2 kids and without those 3 jobs. Watching the story unfold over the last 25 years I couldn't have seen another way to do it and I think she's amazing and wish more people would do that.

"No help from anybody"

Apart from the fraudulent benefits claims that is.
