She's never really been my cup of tea but when she first the scene I thought that she seemed less like a pop star packaged for male consumption than other celebrities. However, as time's gone on and her career has wained she appears to be pandering to any vile fantasies to try and cling to fame.

Her latest video, that was pulled, has been leaked. In it she is seen in a scene which seems to imply that she is about to be raped by R Kelly (The R Kelly with numerous allegations of child rape against him). This delightful scene is shot by Terry Richardson, another alleged sexual predator.

Even if these 2 we're not involved in the video it appears absolutely vile to me and does appear to glorify and even celebrate rape and rapists. His have we got to a stage where anyone would even think this was an acceptable video to make?

Most of her songs lyrics make me feel uncomfortable. For me they describe aspects of an abusive relationship. I don't like my children listening to her, and managed to persuade my local radio station to remove one of her songs from their play list for the week they were supporting and promoting women's aid.

I used to be a huge Gaga fan and still think she is massively talented. But since her collaboration with R. Kelly and Terry Richardson I cant help but conclude that she's a bit of an idiot and have gone right off her.

I'm also not comfortable letting DD listen to any of the songs from ArtPop. It just seems unnecessarily sexualised. She's not someone I want my daughter idolising.

I just saw the news story. Yanbu, why not get Gary Glitter to duet and complete the set?

I'm really not a prude, but watching her writhe around on X Factor singing something like 'do what you want with my body' made me really uncomfortable. Her desperation to be noticed is grim.

When I look at her I see the most extreme form of narcissism. I never bought all the 'artistic exploration' guff she spouts. She is just another marketing man's vision.

R Kelly is a vile human being. The transcripts from the court proceedings against him (for sexual molestation of underage girls) are widely available on the internet and make horrific reading. He got off. So he is 'innocent'. But in my eyes, he is a dangerous predator.

She's trying to take a leaf out of madonna's book then take it a step further. Except her and Madge are miles apart as Madge has always been totally in control.

How how how has R Kelly got away with it??

I totally agree about R Kelly, he is imo a dangerous predator and stunts like this just seem to reaffirm that he is above the law. Its almost like he's laughing at the fact he's allowed to be free to continue to abuse.

I love listening to the latest chart hits when in the car with my young teen/preteen and a lot of the time words go over my head if the tune is catchy. However, I haven't see the video to this but the words "Do what you want with my body" do stand out and really make me feel uncomfortable when listening with the kids. Just wrong.

It might be. Not for me to say. It is difficult to get that though from an initial listen. I thought it was awful the first time I heard it. I too took it 'wrong'. I'm very uncomfortable by how close the lyrics are to being confused.

I think the song being about the media kind of works just on it's own but the video is clearly linking it with rape. Therefore she's either lying about the lyrics meaning or trivializing rape and saying there experience with the paparazzi is comparable. Both are despicable in my view.

I agree with pennastucky that GaGa is a narcissist dressed up as an "artist". I have nothing but contempt for anyone that excuses the behaviour of some of the most heinous abusers in the name of "art".
