Perhaps I am...but where are they now?

Come hither lamented playmates and fill my heart with joy and laughter.

I actually wrote that song but it was nicked off me.

Fuckers.

Honey, move to Norfolk, I'm going to move there as soon as DD2 has finished school. We can terrorise the neighbourhood walking all the dogs together. Grin

You forgot me, GetOrf, you forgot ME.

SaggyAndLucy · 29/06/2014 15:05

Wouldn't it be great if all the best MNers moved to Norfolk together! Grin
I could move too and be the geeky kid following all the cool kids about! Grin

Stratter5 · 29/06/2014 15:27

By the sea please, I am spoilt for beaches up here, and have no intention of giving up that privilege. Norfolk is lovely, and Norwich is great for shopping.

HoneyDragon · 29/06/2014 15:39

Ok, I'll move to,a Norfolk when Stratters does.

Stratter5 · 29/06/2014 15:41

Yay! Grin

We could take over an entire village. The Village of the Damned Mumsnetters.

MadameDefarge · 29/06/2014 16:06

I'm up for it. We could start a communal dining hall, (run by me, obviously) so no one had to cook if they didn't want to.

Fiderer · 29/06/2014 16:30

I grew up there and my mum still lives there so it's my first port of call when I go back to the UK.

Yes to the beaches (the light is amazing) and to Norwich being A Fine City. I daydream about returning to the UK more frequently than ever and mull over where exactly I'd live.

MadameDefarge · 29/06/2014 16:40

aw, Fids!

FellReturneth · 29/06/2014 17:08

Norwich is definitely where I will settle when I stop this expat shenanigans. I love it there.

Hullygully · 29/06/2014 18:00

Too flat and nothing but windmills.

Naaarch is lovely Hully, and flat is good for old people

Fiderer · 29/06/2014 18:27

Flat is good for everyone. Where's the extra virtue in climbing?

Stratter5 · 29/06/2014 18:28

Beautiful skies and light too.

Fiderer · 29/06/2014 18:30

Oh yes, Stratters. You're not helping my homesickness though.

Stratter5 · 29/06/2014 18:51

Sorry Fid, lovely. Just daydream about the lovely village we will all live in.

Fiderer · 29/06/2014 19:01

Nothing to be sorry for Stratters, I was being wistful - and a bit tactless I think.

Yes to daydreaming.

My garden's full of wild boar again. I've had the village "Hunter" out this week trying to shoo them back to the forest. That's his job title. It's like something out of Hansel and Gretel Grin

ExitPursuedByAKoalaBear · 29/06/2014 19:15

Norfolk? Naaah

Nice spot, but you can keep it.

DollyTwat · 29/06/2014 19:33

Getorf reminded me today I've met you Paggy which I'd forgotten. I have no memory of what you look like though!

So waves

Also, whist she's on her way home I have to point out that Getorf's 'missed my train stop' tales are only limited by mainline trains. She confessed to tube disasters today
So I'm right to be texting her like a mother hen asking if she's on the right train Grin

She's going to call me a cunt I know it

Never fails

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 29/06/2014 20:34

DD1 got to go to Norfolk for a week in April Envy
She adored it.

GetOrfMoiLand · 29/06/2014 20:35

Dolly you are a cunt.

I can't help it is a great big bell doesn't ring at paddington to encourage me to get off.

I am just watching masterchef and waiting to see the wellcome trust

DollyTwat · 29/06/2014 20:37

Who needs fucking masterchef when I am cooking lunch?

Ledkr · 29/06/2014 20:38
