Perhaps I am...but where are they now?

Come hither lamented playmates and fill my heart with joy and laughter.

I actually wrote that song but it was nicked off me.

Fuckers.

What's your new job Len?

I absolutely love my job but the commute is killing me - 5.10 train in, get home at 9. Am planning to move to London in autumn. Where shall I move to? Was thinking islington but then HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER AT RENT AMOUNTS

tethersend · 28/06/2014 14:21

Move to Bethnal Green/Victoria Park and be near ME.

tethersend · 28/06/2014 14:22

And it's much nicer than islington.

FellReturneth · 28/06/2014 14:23

Hello Getorf. GrinThanksWine Howz ya bin?

Are you staying? You are not, are you. Sad

I came out of exile especially for this thread and now I'm all off all over the board offering harsh criticism tough love and telling everyone what's what. It's been an exhausting week and I've hardly moved off my bed. i think I might have to de-reg again. Grin

SpringHeeledJack · 28/06/2014 14:24

awww, Getorf!

(I 'know' you on The Other Place- am Pocamac)

pffft Islington

get a nice cheap (alright alright: LESS EXPENSIVE) flat south of the river, then you can come and tweet again during your 30 minute commute

you know it makes sense

FellReturneth · 28/06/2014 14:26

Plus, your train fares must be like a zillion squid.

BIWI · 28/06/2014 14:28

Oi! Getorf!

Why are you here just when I'm having to leave WiFiland to go to PILs?!

We should have lunch/drinks in That London too.

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:31

Train fare is a grand a month and that's without the tube element (which is fine because I walk from paddington to euston).

I couldn't afford islington really unless I lived in a shithole but I want to be able to walk to work really after endless months of a 5 hour a day commute.

But angel is NICE....

I went to a friends flat this week, she lives between Brixton and clapham and that's very nice.

I like the look of Whitechapel as well.

Who knows.

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:33

BIWI yes let's meet in That London, would he brilliant to do that again. Hope you're new job is still going well?

Fell are you still in the ME? Do you like it?

Fiderer · 28/06/2014 14:33

Blimey. Atrocious cunts and fuckers on a thread.

Who says MN has changed?

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:35

Mind you I get lost in London.

I was staying in moregate this week and I got out the tube station and turned left when I should have turned right and walked all the way to liverpool street before I realised I was going in the wrong direction.

Stuff like that happens a LOT!

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:36

YOUR

YOUR job

Christ...

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:37

Poor dollytwat despairs of my doziness.

She often texts me 'did you get off the TRAIN' a she fears I might end up in bath/Chippenham/Bristol by mistake

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 14:37

When you move to London I could meet you and we could go power ranger hunting...Grin

DollyTwat · 28/06/2014 14:40

Getorf you atrocious cunt, there's a REASON why I wonder if you've got off the train Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:40

Hahaha at power rangers!

I was only thinking the day how I wish it was the Olympics again.

We will all be dead by the time that comes back to England

Funnily enough right now spotify Is playing that I Heard Wonders by David Holmes (the music from the opening ceremony where David beckham was on the Thames on a speedboat looking more like James Bond than James Bond himself did!

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:41

I have only a FEW times forgot to get off the correct stop!

It's not my fault. I blame underpriced wine.

FellReturneth · 28/06/2014 14:41

Yes I am still here and I love it (most days) but I am really looking forward to coming home for the summer now. I am homesick for green fields and sanity and I need to detox my poor old expat liver. It's practically begging for mercy.

Fiderer · 28/06/2014 14:42

My post was missing a Grin at the end. I returned recently after siren calls from Maryz and that there Hully.

Am now shocked at Getorf's commute. Blimey

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:43

I've decided I might stay in Cheltenham anyway and marry dollytwat

I've got a wedding dress in the loft

MrsVamos · 28/06/2014 14:43

Oh for it to be the Plympics again.

Good times.

I am mostly ogling men watching tennis at the mo.

Got Commonwealth games coming up.

Any chance of you ogling a few power rangers then ? Grin

DollyTwat · 28/06/2014 14:44
GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:44

I'm pretty used to the commute now to be honest. And I work in the best place ever. So it's all fine.

How long are you back in theUk for fel?

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 28/06/2014 14:46

GetOrf hi how lovely to see you!

Move to Swiss cottage or Kentish Town, you can walk to Euston from there (by which i mean here) too Grin

Don't overdo it on the work front young lady

GetOrfMoiLand · 28/06/2014 14:47

Hearts!

How lovely. High gate looks nice as well I think and highbury
