I have a broken foot, and when he was wheeling me around Tesco, I asked him to get me down two Champagne rhubarb yoghurts as a treat for me and I've just realised that he got a raspberry one and a rhubarb one. The raspberry seeds are stuck in my teeth. Should I leave him?

Hmm
HighwayDragon · 05/06/2014 12:21

Yes, call your lawyer immediately Thanks the shock will wear off soon

Mabelface · 05/06/2014 12:22

I will. Coffee, I'm having a giggle. What's with the face?

Freckletoes · 05/06/2014 12:23

LOL! You're a bit bored aren't you?! I was on crutches for a few months at the beginning of the year and I was going stir crazy too! Brew and Cake

Freckletoes · 05/06/2014 12:24

Actually it's nearly 12.30pm- Wine

puntasticusername · 05/06/2014 12:24

YABU. The lemon curd ones are even nicer.

Gingermum · 05/06/2014 12:25

But Madlizzy if you've got seeds in your teeth that means it was a good raspberry yoghurt with Real Bits in it. (Unless supermarkets are now manufacturing fake raspberry pips). So he cares.

Champagne yoghurt sounds wrong. Like Beluga flavoured cottage cheese.

You could always ask him to buy you a particular form of chocolate to see if he's paying attention?

EatDessertFirst · 05/06/2014 12:25

YABU. I like the raspberry ones Wink.

I broke my ankle a few years back and after a while of going slowly out of my mind I decided to learn how to make balloon animals and would make little stories up about them and film them.

I'll get my coat

ThePost · 05/06/2014 12:28

Yes, YABU, because then you wouldn't have anyone to get you any flavour of yoghurt.

Spot the poster with no sense of humour.

Mabelface · 05/06/2014 12:33

LOL at the balloon animals! Grin. It's champagne rhubarb yoghurts, and they are one of the nicest things ever. There's also the fact that he found it very amusing wheeling me around Tesco and saying "want that one" a la Andy Pipkin whenever I asked him to get me something off a shelf. I am bored. So very bored! We're picking me up a wheelchair tomorrow so I can get out and about. No wine for me yet, as I'm still on co-codamol. Does mean I have a lovely nanna nap in the afternoon.

for some reason I'd been bought the balloon modelling kits on two seperate occasions (from seperate people, having never expressed an interest in balloon modelling) so I had one book of zoo animals and another of erotic shapes. Ended up with videos of lions riding giant willies, was such a shame when I was able to go back to work.

Mabelface · 05/06/2014 12:44

Which painkillers where you taking and where can I get some? Wink

OP posts:
immortalwife · 05/06/2014 12:46

Wouldn't leave him, but I would consider retraining him. You clearly stated the specific type of yoghurt you required and now you have those annoying bit in you teeth that take hours to shift.

Sharp words may be required here Grin. Wink

IhavetowaitHOWlong · 05/06/2014 12:56

YABU. Not worth kicking up a stink over anything less than the hazelnut ones.

Plus as ThePost said, who would pass you things if you LTB?

Gruntfuttock · 05/06/2014 13:10

Gingermum "Champagne yoghurt sounds wrong. Like Beluga flavoured cottage cheese."

The 'Champagne' prefix refers to the type of rhubarb though. They're not adding actual Champagne (or even a flavour of Champagne) to the yogurt.

Thumbwitch · 05/06/2014 13:13

YANBU. I totally get that the raspberry seeds have now presented you with a teeth-cleaning problem - how do you get to the sink to clean your teeth in your present predicament?

and how thoughtless of him to get one of the wrong ones! (I love champagne rhubarb yoghurt etc.)

BitOutOfPractice · 05/06/2014 13:15

calculatorsatdawn that was an...erm...unusual choice of hobby.

were you on strong pain medication by any chance?

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 05/06/2014 13:22

Calculators- did you upload your videos on youtube? Grin

LittlePeaPod · 05/06/2014 13:22

Leave him but make sure you burn all his stuff before poring sugar in his tank. Unforgivable Op

Mabelface · 05/06/2014 13:27

Hazelnut ones are not very nice, and I could always train the cats. Maybe?

OP posts:
nowwearefour · 05/06/2014 13:28

I want to know how you would ltb...... Perhaps he cd push you to your new destination!

Mabelface · 05/06/2014 13:28

Is sugar in his tank a euphemism?
