It's theft OP and you know it, and so not worth it for a few pence.

I've never seen them randomly check scanned products, but they claim to do it, and I wouldn't want to rely on the 'it was a mistake, ooh silly me' defence when they find the croissant has been scanned as a cheaper bread roll.

Stealing. A concept some find difficult to grasp. So it's fine to cheat and steal in a 'minor' way, or if you don't think you'll get caught, or if you're a decent sort, or middle class, or because everyone does it, or as all these big firms rip us off , or, even, because it's a bit of a laugh? I get my wages stolen each month, tax and council tax. I haven't signed anything to say I am willing to have these monies taken from what I earn each month. I shouldn't HAVE to abide by the rules of the Government, nobody should.
