To put my fresh croissant

Through the self service as a white roll (to save on pennies)

Can't get too excited about the OP paying for a roll and taking a croissant. It's not 100% ethical but nor is it the height of 'thieving scum cunt' either. Nice

Sorry but I don't see varying levels of thieving cuntery. Stealing is stealing. Fucking scum.

LoveBeingInTheSun · 28/05/2014 10:13

Warm it's still stealing even if it's a self check out

OnIlkleyMoorBahTwat · 28/05/2014 10:14

Since the introduction of self service tills, the sales of onions and carrots have rocketed, while the sale of pink lady apples and other expensive loose products have plumetted Hmm.

It's theft OP and you know it, and so not worth it for a few pence.

I've never seen them randomly check scanned products, but they claim to do it, and I wouldn't want to rely on the 'it was a mistake, ooh silly me' defence when they find the croissant has been scanned as a cheaper bread roll.

How will serious criminals be described when 'fucking cunt' and 'absolute scum' are used for this??

We are but helpless onlookers as the very fabric of society unravels.

Is it plain or almond?

CiderLover · 28/05/2014 10:26

Chocolate

So I should be less abusive to people who think they can take what they want just because there are more serious criminals out there? Maybe you're right or maybe they're just scumbags who deserve all the abuse they get.

tethersend · 28/05/2014 10:32

Bigdog, you must be exhausted.

CiderLover · 28/05/2014 10:34

as well as perfect

squoosh · 28/05/2014 10:39

NoArmaniNoPunani · 28/05/2014 10:42

Stealing. A concept some find difficult to grasp. So it's fine to cheat and steal in a 'minor' way, or if you don't think you'll get caught, or if you're a decent sort, or middle class, or because everyone does it, or as all these big firms rip us off , or, even, because it's a bit of a laugh? So that's OK then, let's all do it.

CiderLover · 28/05/2014 10:48

I'll probably save the pennies to attend a shoplifting rehab clinic

Lozislovely · 28/05/2014 10:50

You should have just eaten it before you got to the checkout Wink

starlight1234 · 28/05/2014 10:50

why don't you buy a white roll save pennies ?Then your not a thief

I get my wages stolen each month, tax and council tax. I haven't signed anything to say I am willing to have these monies taken from what I earn each month. I shouldn't HAVE to abide by the rules of the Government, nobody should.

If I am a "thieving scum cunt" for putting a croissant through as a white bread roll then so be it.

OP posts:
neverthebride · 28/05/2014 10:51

I don't think they're are many offences that justify calling someone a 'fucking cunt' or 'scum' in my opinion.

Cider ....maybe try a ring donut next time with a cup cake inserted in the middle Grin

BitOutOfPractice · 28/05/2014 10:54

Oh, so putting your crosissant through as a roll was an act of anarchic nihilism?!I see. Well that's different!

squoosh · 28/05/2014 10:55

'I always put my croissants through as morello cherries which are about £18 a kilo.'

Grin

I put my croissants through as manuka honey. Costs me £35.22 per croissant.
