I wonder if the OP had the ingenious plan to start a MN thread about chair-gate to show and convince her husband he should stop golfing so much stop hanging out with Jack and wasn't getting the unanimous responses she thought she would so felt she had to take matters into her own hands?

I'd just like to say that I think AndyWarholsBanana is the most witty, intelligent and eloquent person on the whole of MN, if not the internet and I'm not sure why others don't seem to recognise this.

Can someone just explain though - as am being v dim - how she managed to forget she'd nc'd before posting under the sock puppet name, when her most recent post before that one had been under the OP name? That confused me to the point that I'm delurking to ask about it. And re-reading this, now I'm even more confused

I started to read that thread, but something interrupted me. Wish I had returned.

Think I'm now getting the gist of it, but what I don't understand is why did MNHQ delete it?

Am I right it thinking the OP made a bit of an idiot of herself, by name changing so she could agree with herself under another persona, but forgot she'd NC so posted something that identified the new persona as the OP? But she didn't out herself in RL? And didn't massively offend anyone? And apart from thinking she was a twat, no one massively offended her?

So why delete? Is a NC for that purpose against 'Talk Guidelines'? (misnomer, should be re-named 'Talk Rules Which You Will Obey'). Why?

Sorry to be dim, but can some kind person please explain what a sock-puppet actually is? ie how is different from a troll?

It kinda is a troll, really, which is probably why they deleted it.

Sockpuppets are usually used by trolls to make it seem like more than one person is behind their motive/opinion. Used to make oneself a seemingly bigger bully,really.

But in this instance she was only harmlessly agreeing with herself so it wasn't so sinister. Maybe MNHQ have a 0 tolerance policy.
