Bouncing around on a a GIANT inflatable in space. Only to be met by an elephant and my husband cradling a monkey at the bottom

Erm...

I founded an underwater university, with air pockets for some departments (e.g. Art and Chemistry) and breathing apparatus for others.
Underwater, the students were away from distractions and more focused on learning.

londonrach · 18/05/2014 19:38

Sitting a few pews back in our local church, where I used to sing in the choir. All the people in the pews in front of me were people, who had died, including my husband, who was wearing a jacket I recognised. It was so odd that I was not able to see their faces.

BiscuitCrumb · 18/05/2014 19:48

I actually had a bizarre one last night. It was so vivid. The world was all post-apocalyptic and everyone (including me) was essentially living in slums, underground etc... Anyway, every day some being (alien?) would force people at random to disappear. So you'd get selected at random and you'd have no control over your body. You'd walk on to this platform thing which are scattered around the cities and just disappear. It was all very Dr Who and very unpleasant.

CloverHeart · 18/05/2014 20:13

Last night in my head was spent sexing it up with a young Daniel Craig - we watched Layer Cake just before bed......

It was rather explicit Blush

Being pulled out of a medium sized hole in the woods by Justin Hawkins from The Darkness.

Hmm

I once dreamt that I had 16 toes (10 on one foot, 6 on the other), but that nobody mentioned it because they figured I knew already.
When I woke up I asked my then flatmate to count my toes (just in case I'd been miscounting all that time). I don't know if it's a good or bad sign that she didn't bat an eyelid at my bizarre early-morning request.

hotfuzzra · 18/05/2014 20:36

Sort of related:
DP hears me sleep talking a lot and notes it down sometimes.
I have said before - "Slaves. That's what's going to happen. We're all going to be slaves for the day."
"Get it, get it, get it, why would I want to do that, you little tramp?"
I also laugh and sing a lot in my sleep! I have a sleep recording app and it's so funny!

Objection · 18/05/2014 20:40

hotfuzzra · 18/05/2014 21:25

objection It's called Sleep talk recorder, the icon is red square, white bed with a white speech bubble top right. I think it was 99p but it's well worth it! Enjoy :)

I dreamed that my cat who we had to have PTS last weekend came to me in a field. He brought with him a group of ginger very fluffy cats whom he left with me. He purred and then walked off looking over his shoulder at me.

Our ginger cat went missing recently, I think he was trying to tell me to keep looking for it.

I also once dreamed that Keith Allen wanted me to sleep with him. Very weird!

lizzzyyliveson · 18/05/2014 21:55

I had a recurring dream that we were evacuating the planet and I was in charge of getting the showers on the spacecraft ready. Everyone was driving to the launchsite and I was stressed that we wouldn't be ready in time. Eventually I was happy with the tiling and we took off. I never had the dream again after that.

I still have moments where I remember and feel proud of myself again. I saved everyone with lovely terracotta tiling! Go me!

PigletJohn · 20/05/2014 00:09

I sometimes dream that I have a house or flat, which is similar to the one I now own or where I have previously lived or worked.

For some reason I have one or more rooms in a different part of the building (if a flat) or in an annexe in a nearby plot (if a house) which has been forgotten about and not used for some time. It is furnished and has working electricity and bathroom even though abandoned.

shouldbeelsewhere · 20/05/2014 00:26

I'm a full time wheelchair user. I've always used a wheelchair to a greater or lesser extent. I do walk but only a few steps and it's not really functional - enough to get from my bed to my practically right next to it wheelchair. But every couple of months I'll have some variant of a dream where I'm walking around quite happily shopping or on my way home or even just in my flat. Until I realise that I actually can't walk and then spend the rest of the dream crawling round in a panic hunting for my wheelchair.

Vintagecakeisstillnice · 20/05/2014 00:56

I was retaking my Leav

SecretWitch · 20/05/2014 00:56

I dreamt my 70 year old mum had a baby, was out in the garden having a cigarette and yelling at me to come my sister as she needed a 'feeding'..

I also ( to my utter horror and shame) had a dream where I gave my FIL a blow job...

SomethingOnce · 20/05/2014 01:02

PigletJohn, I remember somebody once telling me those sort of dreams are about unlocking one's unrealised potential Smile

Vintagecakeisstillnice · 20/05/2014 01:09

Damn it

I was taking my leaving cert (= A Levels) and sat next to me was the lead actress from Ugly Betty who's name escapes me at the minute. Only she was my cousin, who shouldn't be in the exam room…

And then we were home and she wanted to throw a big party while my Mum was away and I said no but it happened anyway. But all my nieces/nephews came, all of whom weren't even twinkles in their dad/Ma's eye at that time.

Very odd.

Though OH says I regularly wake him saying that's weird on the middle of the night. When he's asks what I say I'll tell you in the morning and then have no memory of the dream or talking to him.

I rarely remember my dreams but I do wake up thinking WTF on a regular basis, I sometime get a fleeting scene but…

PrincessBabyCat · 20/05/2014 01:30

I had a dream that we were in a room with blue lighting and white frost on everything, so everything was a blue tint. Except for these bright yellow candies. I had to battle the people in the room by shoving the yellow candies in their mouths and then blowing on them, which made them freeze. Then I had to hit them to make them shatter. When they shattered they were hollow. Very strange dream.

I also had a dream that I watched a tiny girl jump on a running horse from a moving truck, and her weight made the horse lose its balance and break its legs.

Allinson2014 · 20/05/2014 03:50

I dreamt that I was Macy Gray and I was appearing on Oprah. I woke up before I had to start singing, luckily. Strange thing is I've never liked Macy Gray or watched Oprah.
