DH wanted a Z4 when he last changed his car. I wouldn't let him because he has a 100 mile round trip to work each day, so he has a 1.4tdi Polo! It is very economical though! I've got a brand new Golf that he drives more than me, so he can't complain now!

DS1(19) is hopefully going into the Army in 8 weeks time. He will be buying a small car to G&T his no claims up a bit more for a couple of years, then he plans to buy a BMW. My Dad is in the trade, he can get them as cheap as chips.

SAABs are sort of posh. I have a beaten up second hand one . It amuses me that in the users manual under" boot" it has a diagram showing you how to get two golf bags in.

There's nothing like proving you're rich by getting into tens of thousands of pounds of debt to run a car with a different badge on it to some other cars.

No debt here thank goodness. Overpaid the mortgage so that's gone too!

Latest car craze at DS's 'posh' school is the BMW1 series. Popular mainly with the mums whose husbands won't or can't buy them a 4WD.

You'd be lucky to get a civic or a Mazda 6 four years old for that price...

Z4 are really popular with divorced ladies of a certain age, intact I don't think I've ever seen a bloke driving one.

I believe drug dealers enjoy a wide variety of different makes & models however they do have a soft spot for gansta glass (tinted windows)

If I was a drug dealer I think I would buy a Hyundai. They are the height of trustworthiness. It's always nice to have a plan. Surely the idea is to remain as unsuspicious as possible?.

I always think of classic cars when I think posh. Morgans etc.
