what things really really annoy you, but for no reason? Like you know it's unreasonable but you still get annoyed.

DP switching the router off at the wall pisses me off no end.

For anyone who has said 'loud parenting'. I'm one I can't help it, I look and sound like a twat!

I remember having a DD free couple of hours when she was about 7 months old, I went shopping and there was a woman walking around with her approx 2 week old baby in a sling - and she was telling the baby EVERYTHING she was doing. I though God, you sound such a wanker doing that and then realised I'm also said wanker myself, it's worse now DD is 18 months, we BOTH chat rubbish!

Loueytb3 · 01/05/2014 15:38

Nissan micra drivers - they have to drive at least 10 mph below the speed limit and never indicate. I HATE getting stuck behind them

Old people in the supermarket on a saturday. You have the whole fecking week to go shopping - don't clog up the shops on a saturday when some of us have no choice but to go then

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 01/05/2014 15:39

Oops, I thought cardiac arrest was a posh name for a heart attack

Heart attack is where the blood flow to the heart muscle is impaired. The supply to the heart can be blocked, with a clot for example.

Cardiac arrest is where the heart stops contracting and pumping blood around your body.

Cardiac arrest can follow on from a heart attack.

peppinagiro · 01/05/2014 15:41

Yesyesyes to the cashpoint one! Wtf are they doing?! Also people who take aaaaages at the Oyster ticket machines. If you can't manage to use the machine, fuck off and queue up to see a person at a counter.

And I agree on people talking through tv programmes. My MIL does it too. We've confronted her and she says 'oh but I can't hear it anyway' (she's a bit deaf). What, so nobody else should hear it either? Also people who ask questions while you're trying to watch tv. If you aren't watching closely enough to know who the characters are and what's happening, you don't need to know.

BillyBanter · 01/05/2014 15:41

Stop your jaw clicking while you're eating. Angry

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 01/05/2014 15:43

My mil does this one as well.

gordyslovesheep · 01/05/2014 15:44

People parking outside my house - it's not my space but it irritates me because there are lots of parking options out side that aren't in front of anyones kitchen window

my mum ringing my landline and letting it ring for hours

ditto people leaving messages on my mobile - it comes up as a missed call - I'll call you back

KellyElly · 01/05/2014 15:44

People using your and you're incorrectly. People using done instead of did.

People carrying rucksacks on the tube.

People blocking up supermarket isles with their trolley while they chat.

Drunk loud people (when I'm not drunk).

Space invaders.

Drilling.

Rain.

The list is endless really Grin

KellyElly · 01/05/2014 15:45

*aisles not isles!

squoosh · 01/05/2014 15:46

People using multiple cards at the cash machine should be put in stocks and pelted with rotten fruit.

petalsandstars · 01/05/2014 15:47

MIL being friends on fb with BILs girlfriend- and liking and commenting on all her posts.

It's just wrong. Boundaries people.

magimedi · 01/05/2014 15:49

'People calling a cardiac arrest a heart attack. Totally different things!'

Working in the defibrillator business that is my pet hate too!

drinkingtea · 01/05/2014 15:51

YES to people who drive much too slowly when road conditions are perfect - I accept getting stuck behind tractors as a fact of life, but I get the rage at being stuck behind a regular car doing 15 or 20km below the speed limit for absolutely no good reason at all. On the other hand I get the rage equally when some twunt in an Audi (we are allowed to be unreasonable - its usually an Audi) tail gates me when I am driving at, or a couple of km above the speed limit, then inevitably overtakes like a loon going through a village Angry

drinkingtea · 01/05/2014 15:54

"outwith" instead of outside of/ except for (or whatever it is used to mean) annoys me totally irrationally - I assume it must be a perfectly legitimate regional word, but I've never heard it in real life, only read it on here, and it makes me wince - illogically, I am sure.

JerseySpud · 01/05/2014 15:54

DH snoring

DD's chasing each other around the house

DC (Dear Cat) meowing.

drinkingtea · 01/05/2014 15:55

"step foot" instead of "set foot" as well, on the same note as "outwith" - will stop now :o

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 01/05/2014 15:55

On TV when they shock for totally the wrong reasons. Like in all soaps.

farnywarny1192 · 01/05/2014 16:00

punter · 01/05/2014 16:00

Drivers who do not indicate
My iPad calendar not syncing properly
Nobody likes my fb posts
Emmerdale
Turning ON the dishwasher is not the same task as emptying it - looks at DH

TequilaMockingbirdy · 01/05/2014 16:04

When I'm trying to cross the road and someone drives reaaaaaallllyy slowly. Either let me cross or drive properly!

oh an the old men who play with motor controlled boats in the lake at the park because they are rude to any toddler who dares to go wiithin 100ft of their 'toys' and are regularly rude to me about my dog being off the lead because he sniffs their boat stands......you dont OWN the fucking park and he is a DOG, bring a table and he wont sniff your stuff! Angry

ouryve · 01/05/2014 16:10

Not unreasonable to be annoyed with the router being switched off at the wall. We have so many devices that make use of it.

Both of my boys habitually tic and stim and I'm fine with that, so long as DS1's not making his annoying grunty noises. However, DH's stims drive me up the wall. He does one where he rubs his hands together really fast. It's loud, it goes right through me and it make me want to scream at him, especially when he does it when I'm right in the middle of listening to something.

popcornpaws · 01/05/2014 16:14

My ndn feeding the birds.

beershuffle · 01/05/2014 16:17

Chat threads in aibu are pretty annoying.
