what things really really annoy you, but for no reason? Like you know it's unreasonable but you still get annoyed.

DP switching the router off at the wall pisses me off no end.

DP breathing through his nose when it is clogged enough to make horrid noises. Only ever happens at night when I'm laying in bed readying myself to fall asleep. The bastard purposefully sits in the dark with a grin leaving it to see how long it'll take me to notice. As soon as I do he's kicked out of bed laughing at me until he's not flapping wet bogies around any more

People who insist on putting their tongue on the cup when drinking tea.
People who speed round bends in roads
School run parents speeding near schools. Foolish.
Parents who leave their dogs tied up at school gates.
People, usually old men who like to blow their nose really loudly in a restaurant while I am trying to eat.
Dog owners not clearing up their dogs poo, or just leaving the bag of dog poo hanging on a branch. What annoys me more are the ones who think it is okay to just dump bag of dog poo it in my recycling bin.

There! My rant of the day! Grin

People who open bags of crisps etc the wrong way up. I don't know why, it just really really annoys me. I would never do that, so why do they?

People who park too far up on the sidewalk so I can't get through with my pram without scratching their car. I have dreams where I just scratch every inconsiderate persons car as I squeeze by... bliss.

My husband coming home and dumping all his crap and emptying his pockets on my very limited counter space. Where he expects me to prepare and cook food is beyond me. One day I told him off for it and when I came back he had just moved things on my stove top mere inches from where they originally were. The urge to chuck his keys at his head was immense.

Yes to beeping goodbye as you drive off. Why why why?

I remember as a teenager a big group of us were friends, and we tended to congregate at friend A's house after school. Friend B's mum often picked him up on her way home from work. Friend A's dad was working shifts and was trying to sleep during the day and no matter how many times we all politely asked friend B's mum not to beep the horn she did it every time. Every time.

I second Smashley on the bad parking, here people park so far up on the pavement there is absolutely no room for a buggy to get through, on bin day it's even worse and I have to walk down the middle of the road.

Similarly people who don't trim their hedges street side and make the pavements narrower than they need to be.

Plus badly dropped kerbs which make buggy pushing a knee wrenchingly hilly experience. All of which gives me pram rage!

Actually none of that is unreasonable, I'm a very reasonable person. Grin

I definitely agree with the sneezing and the tourists in London. I also get annoyed with:

  • being out with other mums who are using prams, and getting dragged into their dramas of there not being enough space, or being restricted to eating in shit massive chain places that can accommodate them all. My baby is in a sling so I shouldn't have to deal with pram dram!

  • people who go around in massive groups and take over the whole pavement, i.e school groups, Italians

  • children who shriek for no reason

  • over sensitive kids who cry over everything. Toughen up!

  • people who cheer at the football on TV. When you're in a pub and suddenly they're all going WWWAAAAAHGHHHH. Shut the fuck up.

  • anyone who talks about football and thinks I should be interested.

  • people who use self service checkouts but are totally incapable of doing so. Usually old people.

My friend who turns to me in the cinema the SECOND the screen goes dark and asks me what I thought. Makes me feel invaded. I need a minute to come out of the film and back to RL, mkay?

Actually I consider that very reasonable. Wink

People who eat at the computers in the library, leaving the keyboard shiny and greasy and crumbs trapped between the keys, oh and tea and coffee rings on the desk.
people who dump their rubbish in other people's skips.
people who pay the bill last in a group, and take everybody else's tip contribution off their own share, so the poor waiter gets nothing.

I hate people! Grin Grin

kaekae I hang my poo bag on a branch if I'm doing a circular dog walk and pick it up on the way back. I once had a horrendous experience of it bursting when it smacked against my leg and had to walk home absolutely stinking and gagging.

My gripes are whistling, knife lickers, loud sneezing and mindless humming/noises to fill silence. Just be still and quiet.

People that feel the need to wave emergency ambulances through spaces. Do you not think they KNOW if they can fit???

YY to people who open crisps the wrong way up. Just WRONG.

People who crack their knuckles.
People who eat with their mouths open.
People who say "less" when they mean "fewer".
People who say "literally" when they mean "figuratively".
People who can't parallel park.

Had to chuckle at your adults sneezing one treaclesoda - I absolutely love a good sneeze except when it's hayfever-induced and I can't stop
