My cousin posted this on facebook:

Disclaimer - I don't drive and don't think she's necessarily wrong, but I didn't know anyone cared about this stuff in real life before mumsnet!

Oh dear. Somebody having a bad day Grin

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:34

She put that note on someone's car!!

Sirzy · 28/04/2014 18:34

Someone has too much time on their hands if they care enough to watch others get out of their cars and then go to the effort to write notes!

Sparklingbrook · 28/04/2014 18:38

Sorry-your cousin wrote it? Can we have some background. Confused

Andrewofgg · 28/04/2014 18:39

I envy her. She is very happy if this is the worst thing in her life.

But there's something about these parking threads. If an Englishman's home is his castle, an Englishwoman's castle is where she parks - or wants to park - her car!

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:40

My cousin did write it, and put it on someone's car! She's a nice person, I don't know her too well, but she's closer to my oldest brother who lives near. That is her facebook post of what she put on someone's car.

I have received one of these myself on one occasion! People are pathetic, I've had a few parking arguments but over P&C spaces just pisses me off.

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:42

My cousin is nice, as far as I know! But she did post that as her facebook status as what she'd put on someone's car!

OP posts:
Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:43

I just can't imagine CARING enough to do that!

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 28/04/2014 18:44

I wonder how she knew there was no child for the car seat?

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:45

No idea. It got lots of likes though, so it is obviously an actual "thing" not a mumsnet thing!

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 28/04/2014 18:46

Are you thinking of something witty to post on her FB?

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:48

My response wasn't witty, unfortunately :)

OP posts:
Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:51

I put something like " I can't drive, so I'm saintly"

OP posts:
JustSpeakSense · 28/04/2014 18:53

a bit pathetic really......and then to FB it

Sparklingbrook · 28/04/2014 18:54

I would have posted this. Grin

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:57

My cousin is nice though!

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 18:59

Also the mother of a pfb and a really involved mummy, not that I think that's bad but the parking thing made me go Biscuit

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 28/04/2014 19:04

That's not a nice thing to do though. That's the thing. Perhaps there's more to it?

CloverHeart · 28/04/2014 19:37

I've said it before and I will say it again (and happily chirp it until I am blue in the face) - Anyone is allowed to park in a P&C space. It's not illegal. Morally wrong, yes, but in reality they are not an entitlement like a disabled space is, just a guideline. You won't get a fine for parking in one and, frankly, its no one else's business regardless of whether or not they have kids.

Your cousin is very passive aggressive and, ultimately, wrong Grin

Sparklingbrook · 28/04/2014 19:39

I don't take any notice of who parks where but writing snotty notes is bonkers. It takes time for a start.

Ruushii · 28/04/2014 19:40

Oh dear. I bet your cousin thinks she's amazing too for that piece of passive aggression. I like her psychic powers too.

Caff2 · 28/04/2014 19:51

She has a lot of agreement on FB. My very mildly put counter argument has been ignored Sad

EurotrashGirl · 28/04/2014 20:52

Does it occur to anyone that we are very fortunate to live in a society with so many cars that there isn't always enough convenient space to park them?
