I know you're not Bilberry, but I've seen awful comments on other forums by parents insisting that nobody else should use those spaces. I've even seen it suggested that the disabled spaces should be shared with elderly people, rather than have them taking up P&C spaces. That really is parents losing the run of themselves.

I thought the idea of P&C spaces was that they were wider, not closer to the entrance? Having a wider space is a godsend if you're heavily pregnant or have to haul a sleeping baby out of the car in a stage 1 car seat - as it means you can open the doors wider.

Some 'normal' car parking spaces are so narrow I literally couldn't get out of the car when I was heavily pregnant.
