My Ex 'DP' has given me an STD we split up just over a fortnight ago when I found out he had been cheating on me for 4 months Angry

I'm 10 weeks pregnant & I am beyond fuming I actually want to rip his head off Sad Angry

As if I didn't feel bad enough as it was now I just feel so dirty & if it harms my baby in anyway I will have to kill him Angry Angry

I have been given Antibiotics so at least I have caught it early Sad

Is their anything I need to do ?

I'm not surprised you were too too shocked to ask the doc questions at the time but you can always go back for a second appointment with a list of questions if you do have any worries about long term effects or effects on your baby.

And in the circumstances I would expect them to have made sure you had the full set of tests for other STIs, but do check that and go back if necessary because if he's infected with 1 he could also have others and the earlier you are treated the better.

Thanks Punk (love your name btw) I'm going to make another appointment tomorrow to go over everything again Smile Thanks

What an utter wanker!!! You sure he wasn't visiting prostitutes?

Good luck with your pregnancy and don't forget the csa! X

crispyporkbelly · 27/04/2014 06:47

I tested positive for Syphallis while pregnant but didn't actually have it. Apparently there can be something in your blood when pregnant that makes the result positive for Syphallis specifically.

I would get it double checked with haematology as its quite common to be misdiagnosed.

BellaOfTheBalls · 27/04/2014 06:56

I know you've had lots of offers but just wanted to say that he's an utter arse and you & your baby sound like you're well shot of him.

Should you need it, I have a builder coming to re-lay our collapsing patio next week. He'd fit quite nicely under there I'm sure.

I hope the second appointment is able to put your medical worries completely to rest. As far as I know there should be absolutely no ongoing problems - syphilis in the early stages does respond very well to antibiotics - but it's best to check with the doc and make sure you have proper all-clear.

If you're worried about forgetting any questions during the appointment, write a list beforehand that you can take with you.

Sonumb · 27/04/2014 22:08

Good idea Punk about writing things down I'll definitely do that Thanks

MrSweeetPickle

  1. You're capable of self control.
  2. That's not an excuse to cheat. If you don't want to be with someone, don't be with them. Is it so hard to dump and then hump the nearest thing in a skirt?
  3. Trans wear skirts. What now?
mineofuselessinformation · 27/04/2014 22:46

Keep going....
Pie and bovril or what?
Or does that confuse your tiny brain?
Just to add....
Not feeding the troll any more. Angry

HavannaSlife · 27/04/2014 22:49

Some men can't, if they are immature sex obsessed knobs. The majority of men can go without sex for periods of time without wanting to hump anything in a skirt like some sort of dog on heat

motherofmonster · 27/04/2014 22:49

what a bastard, really feel for you...

do you still have any of his things at your place to be collected? if so i would be tempted to put some of his underpants in it that had been well rubbed over some fiberglass and see how he enjoys a flaming red itchy dick....tosser

Janethegirl · 27/04/2014 22:51

The kinky bugger would probably enjoy the fibreglass!
