Watching channel 4 and the announcer biscuit keeps randomly biscuit saying 'biscuit' in the middle of her biscuit sentences.

Biscuit
Ruushii · 24/04/2014 22:37

She has Tourette's.

Ruushii · 24/04/2014 22:37

Feel free to feel a twat for mocking her.

theonewiththevoodoo · 24/04/2014 22:37

i though that it was so that you actually listen to what she says.....

however what happened is that it fucked me off so much i turned over!

GoodEggy · 24/04/2014 22:38

I thought perhaps McVities had planted a little gremlin in my TV to make me want more biscuits.

theonewiththevoodoo · 24/04/2014 22:38

if she had tourettes then she wouldnt be saying buscuit

NurseyWursey · 24/04/2014 22:39

Why is she an announcer if she has torrettes. Seems a bit counter productive.

MeYeahMe · 24/04/2014 22:39

Oh dear. I did wonder if this wouldn't go down well simply because people aren't aware of Jess Thom.

She's great - I would link to her website, but it's crashed Grin

Ruushii · 24/04/2014 22:39

Of course not, Dr.

Except she has and she does.

KnittingRocks · 24/04/2014 22:40

Why would she not be saying biscuit theone?

MeYeahMe · 24/04/2014 22:40

Here theonewiththevoodoo and Nursey have a Biscuit

ashtrayheart · 24/04/2014 22:41

What should she be saying then theone Hmm

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 24/04/2014 22:41

"if she had tourettes then she wouldnt be saying buscuit"

She didnt. She said biscuit.

Regardless- how would you know how her tourettes affects her?

SilverShins · 24/04/2014 22:42

She does have Tourette's. I heard her last year on Radio 4's Today Programme.

theonewiththevoodoo · 24/04/2014 22:42

I stand corrected...and happy to be wrong. good for her.

However.... I dont change my opionin on how annoying it is.

NurseyWursey · 24/04/2014 22:43

Thanks meyeah I just fancied one of those.

Nothing wrong with what I've said. I've not seen it. I'm just going off the 'she's an announcer with Tourette's'. Since an announcer er... announces things shouldn't it be someone who is able to say the sentence without their tics interfering? Or am I wrong in saying this Confused

KnittingRocks · 24/04/2014 22:43

I'm sure we all have annoying tics, just some more obvious than others.

SilverShins · 24/04/2014 22:43

Really Nursey?

good for her, im glad that there is more disability awareness....

but the point is... i wasnt aware... neither will the kids who watch, and repeat it ad nauseum in they playground...

not sure exactly how this furthers disabilty awareness....
