Not ever.

How does one knit a rabbit anyway?

Maybe I should have asked "how does one knit" I see tears ahead Grin

Maybe we could knit a rabbit a scarf instead?

Or take the dog out to catch a rabbit pie

I've just asked on another thread, but please tell me what the ducks and dog cocks are about.

Are they anything to do with the rabbits?

Do the rabbits knit?

Are they knitting dog cocks?

I need to know, or you're directly responsible for me not getting any kip tonight.

TillyTellTale · 21/04/2014 02:11

Knitting's easy!

Buy some starter needles (between size 3 1/4 and 3 3/4 according to preference) and this book! And knit a scarf for a rabbit to start with.

TillyTellTale · 21/04/2014 02:14

Agent a thread that was, after many many hours, hidden. Someone asked if they were unreasonable to have a problem with a friend's drunken fondling of their dog. The friend focused on the dog's genitalia, when doing this.

TillyTellTale · 21/04/2014 02:21

Also, although I didn't see any ducks tonight, here's an MN duck.

I'm sure I've got that book Tilly Grin one of the 20 boxloads many my dad's got us second hand.

Thanks for the explanation, I hope it was a troll given the subject then, but knowing what people are I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't tbh. There are some sick fucks out there.

Monty27 · 21/04/2014 02:25

In the wee bunny hole round the big tree, out the wee bunny hole and off pops she! That's how i was taught to knit.... a scarf Grin

Did you get into a deep convo about it? Is dc settled?

:)

IdkickJilliansAss · 21/04/2014 02:28

I can't knit, waaaaah Grin

D0oinMeCleanin · 21/04/2014 02:32

Dd2 is now settled. She told me she would dream about her new knitted bunny [wibble]

There was no deep convo. Just desperation. It went...

Dd2 stood on stairs: Mammy, I've had a nightmare
Me in doorway staring longingly at remainder of wine: Oh dear, I will send up Whippy to guard you
Dd2: No, I need my knitted bunny, but he is lost. He always kept me safe
Me: We will find him in the morning
Dd2: But, but, but The Devil Dog ate him [face crumples]
Me: sensing long night ahead: I can sew you a new a bunny in the morning?
Dd2: A knitted one? [face lights up]
White wine: I'm getting warm sat here all my lonesome
Me: Okay we will knit a rabbit in the morning.

Just posted on the get a grip thread.

If you can't knit, cheat. Or delegate Grin

AgentZigzag · 21/04/2014 02:33

I'm sure the poster I've nicked this off won't mind me posting this scary shit knitted rabbit for you to gawk at.

TillyTellTale · 21/04/2014 02:36

is this a 'any dream rabbit will do' situation, or are there standards for this rabbit to meet? Legs, tail, non-demonic whiskers?

Wilding · 21/04/2014 02:38

Could you sew a knitted rabbit out of an old knitted jumper?

AgentZigzag · 21/04/2014 02:38

Awww bless her, how old is she?

Start off the knitting project with her tomorrow, get onto amazon/ebay and order a knitted rabbit (you'd need a loose wool colour match with what you'd started with her), pull it out of a hat as soon as it arrives (lots of 'wow, isn't mummy clever', and 'I only did it because I love you so much' etc etc), reap the rewards/best mum award for your deviousness

If she's 12 though she might not go for it Grin

Monty27 · 21/04/2014 02:40

Please some knit Doinme's DD a bunny :) I can't, but I think my dsis might, I'll ask her

Patience may be required here.

Bless her :)

TillyTellTale · 21/04/2014 02:41

I have it! Order a knit-a-rabbit kit. It will come with instructions and she can learn the pleasure of knitting.

www.thelittleknitkitcompany.co.uk/products-page/animals/bunny-rabbit-knitting-kit/

Other suppliers probably available.

Monty27 · 21/04/2014 02:41

someone

D0oinMeCleanin · 21/04/2014 02:43

Oh that's a plan. She is only 7. She still sells dd1 £5 notes for a tenner because dd1 once told her the blue ones are the best, I think she might fall for it Grin

OP posts:
Monty27 · 21/04/2014 02:44

:) :)

AgentZigzag · 21/04/2014 02:48

7? Perfect Grin

You can't fail.

Did Ddog scoff her rabbit then?

D0oinMeCleanin · 21/04/2014 02:50

That came out wrong I blame the wine she still buys £5 notes from dd1 for a tenner.

Dd1 is the Queen of Deviousness, I have lost count of the amount of times she has "sold" dd2 the back end of her dog for 50p.

D0oinMeCleanin · 21/04/2014 02:52

Devil Dog normally normally only eats teddy's eyes, but he is a terrier and it was a rabbit. I don't know how realistic this rabbit was, I was not aware dd2 even had a knitted rabbit bad mummy
