To feel rage

when people talk about the children being on half term.

They've just finished one term, so it's not half it's end of term.

I get the rage at how many school holidays they get, 4 weeks a year is enough keep them in school!!

I've just seen this on another thread. Can't care less. We all know that they mean, why does it matter?

Back in the day (all of 7 years ago) this would have been the Easter holidays at the end of term 2. Therefore the week in the middle would be half term holiday.

Some of us still work with old money (coz in education or totally goes in circles, we'll be back to 3 terms in a few years anyway!)

It's been bubbling up for a few years.
