That living in This House would be like living inside a black and white movie?

yellowsnownoteatwillyou · 15/03/2014 10:43

It does, I think you would also have to have a lot of dramatic pauses in arguments. While drinking cocktails.
How do they live in a house with kids with a satin looking sofa?

FrigginRexManningDay · 15/03/2014 10:44

I like it.

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 15/03/2014 10:46

It's all a bit dark.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 15/03/2014 10:49

Do you think the teddy bear on pic 12 is desperately waiting for the photographer to go so he can have a wee?

Grin
Perfectlypurple · 15/03/2014 10:51

I love it.

MrsJoeHart · 15/03/2014 10:53

That is truly hideous.

BelleateSebastian · 15/03/2014 10:53

Haha chaos

I LOVE it and if I win the Euromillions tonight I'll relocate to Leeds!

TheBody · 15/03/2014 10:57

it's gorgeous and I love it.

might be a bit mean to do this though op, presumably these people are simply selling their house and don't want it picked over by loads of strangers on the net.

also the children's faces are clearly shown on photos.

I think you should pull this thread before it's reported.

wowfudge · 15/03/2014 10:57

Ugh - the wrong side of naff. And it looks like an office building on a business park from the outside. Loadsamoney but not much taste.

pictish · 15/03/2014 11:00

The designer probably thinks it's lovely, a study in grey.

I don't like it myself. The outside is weird. Looks like a care home.

pictish · 15/03/2014 11:01

Homely...but very 'purpose built'. Kwim?

Marylou62 · 15/03/2014 11:02

A beautiful house but not my cup of tea. Right about the kids being recognisable...I would have taken their photos down.

pictish · 15/03/2014 11:03

Fans TheBody with a gentleman's hankerchief. Grin

CoffeeandNumbers · 15/03/2014 11:06

I love love love the colours!
The bricks and mortar are fugly, but I love greys and purples.
That sofa does indeed look hard work with children.

Funnyfoot · 15/03/2014 11:07

thebody

There are dozens of threads just like this one on here it's called house porn. The pictures are on zoopla so accessible to anyone on the internet. It is not my fault they didn't remove the pictures of their kids before they put it on the internet.
Plus I wasn't picking it apart I said all the grey makes it feel like it is a black and white movie I wasn't slagging it off.

I will not pull my thread just because you said so!
Take you PO somewhere else.

That's not far from me. I'm going to buy it and paint everything magnolia.

KinkyDorito · 15/03/2014 11:12

Oh, and lego. There will be lego scattered everywhere when it is mine.

Funnyfoot · 15/03/2014 11:13

Just read the write up and from what I can tell nobody lives in the house.
It appears to be a project and has been purpose built and designed/decorated in a particular way. So I would assume those photos are not of the families children and more models/promotional pictures.

TossedSaladsAndScrambledEggs · 15/03/2014 11:16

From the outside it looks like a travel lodge and inside the decor is naff. I'd still swap it for my 2 bed terrace though!

GertTheFlirt · 15/03/2014 11:21

pic 6, kitchen sink - just why?

Binkyridesagain · 15/03/2014 11:24

The photographer needs to learn how to take photos, those pictures are shit.

pictish · 15/03/2014 11:31

There's something else strange about it. The best feature of this eighties style monolith - those huge panoramic feature windows to the back...they are totally wasted. Check it out.

Onesleeptillwembley · 15/03/2014 11:33

That is truly hideous. It's very nouveau (rich, not art!) without any soul whatsoever.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 15/03/2014 11:37

Wow, that's something else. I got to pic 5 and wondered why they'd taken a black-and-white photo, then realized it wasn't. Confused

Very creepy.

McFox · 15/03/2014 11:41

God that's horrific.
